ad block pro doesn't even work (and its PRO!!!) works every where else tho, it has to be real GM, is there an anti-adblocker thing?

Right click ad > Adblock Plus: Block Image... > Click Add Filter when new window pops up

That got rid of all ads RealGM wide for me

OK that works, but does it work forever or when they get a new ad do you have to go thru the steps again?

It's been permanent for me. I think it blocks the FRAME the image goes into, not the individual ads

If we go to a game it'll be tonight since we'll be in Fort Mill most of the day. I'll see how outrageous ticket prices are and state my case to the wife, but who knows how that'll go :roll:

I just did it with regular adblock

right click on ad
click block ad
then i clicked "advanced block ad by URL" or something like that in blue font at the bottom
clicked the block everything containing _____ option (the the first one i think)

did that for each ad to make sure i had all the ad site URL's blocked and now they're gone

I may have forgot something, i didn't really know what i was doing lol

nothing like being sick on thanksgiving. argh. looks like i will be spending the day at home, hopped up on cold medicine. i definitely cannot miss work on friday, its the last business day, our busiest day of the month. that gives me one day to get feeling better.

In case it helps anyone...

I happened to see an advertisement on Hulu about how Verizon had some sort of $45/month cell phone plan that seemed to match what I already had (but was paying like $90/month for). I called in to ask them about it, and it turns out I was getting charged some sort of line fee in addition to my monthly access; they basically said something about how they have a "loyalty program," which would eliminate this line fee and lower my price to just a $60 monthly access fee (plus taxes and everything, of course) for the same unlimited talk/text and 2gb data that I was already paying for. They checked my eligibility and said that I was eligible, so just by calling in, I guess I saved myself around $20-$30/month. I figured I'd relay this over in case anyone is in the same boat I was in, maybe you can save yourself some money.
