Willie Cauley Stein....looked really good. Man. Its tough sitting around and watching all these rookies besides ours look fantastic.

We have got to get Frank more burn. No excuses Clifford, we are likely one of the worst teams in the league.

Rodney Hood is a damn monster. Should have done whatever it took to draft him. Instead were stuck with Hairston.

you watched that Lakers - Kings game as well?

the Lakers are the Lakers but it was tough not to get excited about the way some Kings players looked. Cauley Stein did indeed look impressive. He has the potential to be a more agile and power forward-like Tyson Chandler.

Pelicans have done such a Bobcats job at building around Davis. But he's stuck there for another 5 years, probably all losing years.

^ I am still mad we lost the lottery that year.

Curry is just insane, no way in the world are we getting him when he hits FA.

They went all in on 4 of the most injured pseudo stars in the league - Holiday, Gordon, Evans and Anderson - and failed miserably.

I'd kinda like to see Curry take a run at the scoring title this year. I doubt it will happen, since he'll have so many games where he sits the entire 4th though.

GS is loaded, and the best part is they did most of it via the draft without tanking.

AD would somehow suck if we drafted him.

Curry could have had two 70 point games if the Pelicans didn't suck so bad. The Pelicans guards are terrible and they have no wing defender besides Anthony Davis that is any good.

Start any guard who plays against the Pels for easy fantasy points

8 for 11 from three, 11 for 11 at the line. 53 points on 27 shots. Unreal!

the beautiful thing about warriors, Curry, Thompson, Green, Barnes, Zieli ... they were all drafted by the team, and they improve year by year (I mean the significant improvement), Curry, the mvp, is still improving... this same thing can't be said about other teams...

The Hornets have never had a player they drafted show "significant" improvement from year to year.

our drafting is terrible, not sure if the players just suck or we just cant develop them. or both.

although to be fair, my "i would've taken" record isn't the best.

2011- 7th pick Brandon Knight, 9th pick Kieff Morris
2012- 2nd pick, Thomas Robinson, 31st pick, Draymond Green
2013- 4th pick, Ben McLemore
2014- 9th pick, Noah Vonleh, 26th pick (or whatever it was) PJ
2015- 9th pick, Justice Winslow

so something like

Knight
McLemore-Winslow
Green-PJ
Kieff--Noah
Robinson

the big one is Green, but i am very confident he wouldn't have turned into the player he is today with us.

I think it is more that we can't develop them, but we probably also should have gotten more talent with all the picks we've had.

I would have taken Justice and Noah the last two drafts. I didn't follow the drafts before that closely enough to really say. I know I definitely didn't want Zeller the year before though.

I've been happy with every one of our picks since 2011, except Taylor, PJ, and Frank.

But my "would have taken" record is honestly really good.
Biz at 7, Kawhi at 9 in 2011
Drummond at 2, Quincy Miller at 31 in 2012
Trade #4 in 2013 for absolutely anything
Vonleh at 9 and Napier at 24 in 2014
Winslow at 9 in 2015

We probably pick much higher in 2014 because we'd still be starting DJ Augustin at point and we don't sign Big Al, and we'd have to go hard after a PG sometime, but that Drummond/Biz/Vonleh/Kawhi/Winslow core would have really been something :(

I'm not feeling really good about this season. Detroit and Orlando look vastly improved. Knicks look better as well. If we are not in it by the trade deadline, then we need to make some serious moves.
