Bummer. He's the one guy I've been genuinely excited about.

cartilage repair usually done via arthroscopy annoying they don't identify the extent of injury and nerve-inducing that they use the term out "indefinitely"

was hoping Devonte would quickly reduce Parker to mentor role Disappointing!

At this time of the year, I'm going have to assume they are just being very cautious. If he's not showing a significant problem in games, then it is probably minor.

Not too worried about this assuming its not serious. He wont be in the rotation to start the season anyway.

Was it Cartilage damage when Durant was out late in his first season with the Warriors but he still made it back sometime in the playoffs? I'm trying to remember an example so we can guess on Graham's timetable. The NBA TV sideline reporter said it was a non-contact injury and he was practicing yesterday morning when someone noticed his knee was swelling. Graham is a tough dude but I wonder if he hurt it vs. Boston and thought it was minor and just didn't say anything to anyone. This is such a bizarre situation!

Man this thought makes me sick to my stomach for him but worst case and glass half full view for those who didn't believe in him or that he was ready then he gets a redshirt year and can learn the ropes from observing Kemba and Parker lead the way and return in 12-18 months ready to contribute even if he misses next Summer League. Get well soon and have a full recovery! I still believe in you Devonte'!

Welcome to Charlotte : Devonte Graham

Devonte’ Graham’s summer with Charlotte got cut short this week when the rookie point guard from the University of Kansas suffered a right knee injury.

The Hornets announced Wednesday night Graham, a second-round draft pick, was diagnosed with a “condylar lesion,” ending his availability at the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League and keeping him away from regular basketball activities for an undetermined amount of time, according to a report from The Charlotte Observer’s Rick Bonnell.

I read that the patients commitment level to rehab is an important factor and may be the best treatment. Reading the "tea leaves" maybe it's not as bad as we thought.

It’s his poise and calmness that really jumps tout at me.

We had a great draft this year.

Finally.

Yeah, Devonte handles himself like a grown man out there. Body language is excellent, and his decision making is on point. Shooting has been a pleasant surprise, he was 'matches' as Dell likes to say. I really like the job Mitch has done thus far, even picking up Biz has been pretty decent all things considered.

Devonte is a burner. I like his pairing with Monk, both electric guys who can score in multiple ways.

he looked terrific imo. looked poised, hit his shots, had a couple good defensive sequences, and I really liked his passing.

Dell said on the broadcast tonight that the majority of his turn overs in this game were not his fault or a result of him being careless/sloppy.

So that’s good?
