Really good info in this article. Here are comments coach Lee made about Green:
“Oh, my gosh,” Lee said Wednesday. “I’m Mr. Competitiveness and all that stuff, so to watch Josh make all these extra efforts and multiple efforts … We’ve been in our coach’s meetings sometimes where we are like, ‘Let’s just not try to mess Josh up.’ He’s able to do it a lot of time and he’s got his own technique of doing it. But he’s done a great job of being open-minded to doing things differently defensively, but also offensively.
“Now, we are going to put him in some situations where he’s got to handle the ball more, use him to facilitate because he has such a well-rounded game. He’s more than just a defender. That will be his first point of emphasis or his trademark, but he’s got so much more to be and I’m excited for him to showcase it this year.”
Also notes how Green was largely used by Dallas as a corner hang out guy in the Mavs system. Now looks like he will be an integral part of our starting group.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I hope we're planning on pushing the pace as much as possible on offense this year. Green is excellent in transition. He, LaMelo, and Miles running the floor should be a thing of beauty as long as our coaches don't get in the way.

Miller too! I like how excited he seems and all the good words from coaches, execs, Curry etc. We may have stolen a really nice piece who is just coming into his own.
Miller
Ball
Green
Mark
Miles
Thats a good young core if healthy and we actually have a decent bench at MOST spots

i'm on the fence about green. really want to see him with our players. if both are healthy, i'd probably lean cody over green, but thats a huge if.

Eve in the 15 games he plays each year he's so bad offensively he's not worth caring about. Green takes his place in the rotation anyway
investigate Adam Silver

I like healthy Cody but Green seems like a more athletic and quicker version of even that Cody.

To be honest we can do with players doing the dirty work, and we probably have 2 really good ones in Green and Cody. You need players like that to compliment the star players which hopefully will be Ball, Miller and Milles

He hasn't done anything in preseason. If it weren't for player roles/fit, there isn't much of an argument that he should start over Mann or even Cody.

In a post game presser Lee said he was healthy but was getting more rest because he played in the Olympics.

No idea why his playing time's remained inconsistent, but Josh played well tonight.

I love the guy. Allows us to play him on the opposing teams best offensive player and let lamelo and Miller do their thing.

The Olympics were not a fluke. This guy does nothing on offense… looking like a bust of a trade

Phenomenal trade. Lol we got a great defender for nothing.

Yeah he's a great defender and I'm still happy we have him, But he is a complete passenger on offense.

Re: Aussie, Aussie, Aussie: The Josh Green Thread
We cannot afford someone given his minutes to be a complete zero on offense in a high scoring lead where the primary critique is that 3 point baskets are too easy now, so the league should move back the 3 point line.
If he can't defend McCain because quick guards blow past him, then what is he even doing of solid value on that end?
Those quick guards run the gleague so every roster has them. Look at Dillingham.
Have to have defenders capable of guarding quick backcourt POA.
