Just for this win, we're going to be picking 10th in the lottery.

Glad we won that game in spite of not playing our best players much in the 4th quarter. nurkic/seth We're fantastic together in the third and a huge reason we got back in the game. I'm truly disappointed that moose is out of the rotation. Hard to speculate how we would have looked with him playing some of those minutes down the stretch. The Lakers were targeting Mark getting him on switches out at the top where he was in space and unable to guard. Lebron took his soul on several occasions.

lee makes some really interesting lineup choices sometimes. The last two possessions were you sub for defense and you know you need to switch everything yet you keep mark on the floor. You also end the final possession with space cadet rookie out there who completely blew an assignment. Nick Smith Jr who and no universe is one of our top defenders that should be in there on the last play for defensive purposes. Just didn't quite understand the decisions. But luckily it worked out in the end. It was a wonderful game to think I think the team really needed this for a little morale boost heading into the last 3rd of the season.

I'm really not trying to overreact or be hyperbolic here. But in terms of right now, Mark is probably the 3rd best center on the roster In terms of actually impacting how well we playing on the floor. He has the highest ceiling and needs minutes, so I totally understand playing him in a meaningless second half of the season. But if we were in a playoff hunt I would hope that the rotations might look a little different. Same goes for Nick playing over Seth. There's no way of this team was fighting tooth and nail for playoff spots that I would be playing nick over Seth. Those minutes would have to be reversed as long as Seth could handle the minutes. again it doesn't matter because these games are meaningless. The young guys need minutes so I'm on board with playing them as much as possible.

Great game for miles. Was a Stud on both ends. And always wonderful to see Lamelo out there with the joy that he plays with.

How many times has Lebron actually lost to this franchise in his entire career? Maybe twice. I know at one point he was 24-0 against us Back when we were the Bobcats.

Hilarious to see Lebron as usual complaining about officiating. Did he not watch the first quarter where they basically blew like five calls in a row in favor of the Lakers.

Miles plays hard as hell. He had his problems and me amongst most of us killed him for it. But damn when that dude gets on the court he goes all out. I’ll give him that.

Yeah he really is a baller who always goes hard.

He’s continued to help the team this year

I’m not sure if you went through the thread to see me losing my mind but I was saying for most of the game that they should have definitely played moose. Green and smith (apart from the clutch thank god) were largely ignored on offence because they sucked. The cost was Rui getting easy post up against a guard, I so would have preferred moose at Pf for his size and energy.

Nurkic is our best screener for a long time. Zeller would run like a mad man to set a million screens, while nurkic uses his bulk and smarts to direct the player before setting the right screen to create the good shot

They can say whatever they want regarding damaged goods, but I cannot imagine them feeling comfortable watching Luka get up and down that court. These athletes can lap him. He looks uncomfortable in transition. He winces when he dribbles. He can't get the same separation that he used to get. He looks like a big red flag.

This game left me confused why the Lakers ever considered this roster worthy of a playoff run. They cashed out all their picks as if Mark were some magic missing piece until the magic wore off. They have several missing pieces. I'd laugh if they go big game hunting this summer which you just know they will. Between Luka's body/poor conditioning and Lebron's age, they look vulnerable to collapse.

So top-heavy it's gross.

I would not be surprised to see LeBron opt out. He can no longer lead his team in closing time past bottom teams like the Jazz and Hornets. Must hurt for him.

Maybe one last year with Luka +1?

There’s no way the Lakers thought this trade would make them better this year. Two heliocentric defensive traffic cones makes no sense. I expected them to be a much worse team but you can’t not make that trade

The Lakers roster is a case study in how not to build. Top-heavy, unreliable, overpriced. Just a flimsy build. LeBron has fallen and this build looks like his last stand.

Luka and LeBron both look like they're conserving energy in order to pick and choose spots where they can find max exertion to change momentum.

Superstars can typically sustain high level play throughout the game and change momentum more frequently.

These guys are really puttering out hard.

They made the right choice reclaiming their draft capital, and finishing the year without a center, with a 40 year old fading, and with a 270 pound dude spending thousands on Door Dash Diet.

Hope Redick enjoys it.

Doncic (pointing at Redick's face mocking him for interviewing here): 'Ha ha ha! Charlotte Hornets'

Lakers should rescind the Luka trade. So much hollow hoopla over there.

I find it ridiculous that this coach decides to park Moose and use Salaun exclusively. What a moronic choice. Tiddy gets beat in so many ways, and cannot shoot consistently to save his life. Please respectfully save the HE’S 19 replies….yes we know. This rookie, who should have been a mid-level pick, was pushed into the rotation due to injuries. Fine, he’s made very minor progression with all those minutes. Now they’ve got options.

Despite this, great win over the conniving Lakers. Agree with others that team looks nothing like a playoff contender.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Lee’s rotations were nothing short of laughable. Some lineups he was running had to have been given directly by Jeff Peterson with a big TANK FOR COOPER FLAGG sticker on them

And then subbing in Salaun for defense on LeBron on the game winning shot - and he then proceeds to go UNDER a screen in a 3 point game

I often wonder if Lee is servicing his boss by gifting so many minutes to his #6 selection. May not be warranted but it's a concern I have. I believe in open competition. For instance, I thought Mann never had a fair shot to claim Green's starter role.

Who's more important to the future, the player you inherited or the one you most recently acquired?

But Hornets play again tonight. Moussa will make more than a cameo tonight in Denver. And Mark will get a rest day where they can resume his tube feeding and plug him back into the mechanical ventilator given his terminal prognosis suggested but not confirmed by the superior LA Lakers medical team.

Salaun will never live up to where he was picked in the drafted, the only saving grace is hoping the rest of his draft class is also ass.
