Tre Mann with the last shot who has been pathetic tonight is not ideal.

Especially when Mann is out there. He's contributed nothing these last few minutes.

We should have gone with sexton more down the stretch
Losing miller was the difference , wish we finished this one with the W
They are fun to watch at least and working hard

Games on Lee. I can respect wanting to play Mann back into shape but Jesus christ he played like Roizer with 50k on the line.

At the ends of the day the better 3pt shoot team wins. Not even 40% from 3 is good enough in today's 3pt centric game.

Having Mann in over sexton in the closing seconds is a wildly bad coaching decision.

Not a blowout, missing miller cancels out the embiid minutes restriction. If Mann has an average game they probably win. Not super fussed with this one with 80 games left. Kalkbrenner has been a real breath of fresh air.

Also, didn’t want to jinx anything earlier, but a point of sadness would’ve been edgecomb greatly outplaying Kon, and that wasn’t my observation. It’s silly anyway since they didn’t have an option on VJ, but it was on my mind and I thought Kon mostly looked on par all things considered.

His two missed open 3s which would have probably won us the game will be on my mind but he looked solid. If im being nit picky, he seems to have some Podz/Kennard syndrome where he isn't insantly taking the 3 shot that's available to him.

You were drafted to be shooter and in 2025 when you catch the ball with some space beyond the 3pt line you gotta shoot! Im sure it won't be a longer issue as he gets within the flow of the offense.

You aren’t wrong. My fear was to watch another performance from Edgecomb like his first game while Kon struggled and it’s relieving that wasn’t the case. I don’t have anxiety when he shoots, shots look confident and make able and I know expecting them all to fall is unrealistic.

I was ready to experience a reality where my optimism of the team direction was premature, but, like, I think the team I actually pretty good. They have weaknesses, it’s not a contender, they could never get relegated, but they’re far from hopeless.

Ex: Mann had a bad game. We can second guess if playing him less would’ve lead to a win, but for too long, his caliber player had to play regardless of performance. That we can second guess bad choices is another relief.

Miller can't stay healthy we blow a late quarter lead.

Just the typical Hornets smh

It feels good to be angry about a game with the Hornets at least. But yeah have to echo the posts in here. Terrible rotations, couldn’t buy a shot at the end, just in general awful 4th quarter choke. Haven’t won in Philly since before the Process..

Finished the replay, so sad they lost, but the slip away was building near the end, and Melo couldn’t pull it off. His too early wild ass one footed 3 attempt against VJ was classic stupid Melo, and at a pivotal point in the game. If the guy could gain some discipline, play intelligent ball instead of reverting back to playground mentality, they’d win many more games. But THIS is why GM’s around the league don’t see major value in him.

Hated Lee’s rotations at times. As others said, playing Tre so many minutes, and through most of Q4 to ending the game, was stupid. He’s rusty, playing worse than he ever did during his brief audition pre-injury, and his defense stinks. Sexton had a strong game and should have been in. Miles with another good game, Kalk showing he’s our best center as a rookie, Kon getting there for being so young. I was most pleasantly encouraged by James. He looked good tonight and contributed nicely.

If Miller has any long term injury, Lee better think about his rotation very carefully.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Well we have 3 rookies that look beyond solid for us. Hitting on second rounders is what wins titles. Unless you’re the spurs and I won’t get over that ****

If the hornets had a center averaging 29 12 and 7 blocks per game we would win the east. We did jump in the lottery to get miller. But still.

Rant over.
