If anyone has been following the thread on the GB, I have a sneaking suspicion this was set up by Doc to get back at that poster that told him he needed to call Gerald in the hospital or fly in to visit if he actually cared about him.

They already picked up the option on his contract for next season, which still makes no sense to me.
