The one good thing about potential is it doesn't always work out.
Bismack kept sucking and I just got tired of the 1ppg/5rpg seasons. Henderson regressed too. Mullens hadn't improved that much either so I let him go.
Team still sucked ass though. Go figure.

I've never had the potential not work out, do you develop them?
I get the high potential players and just develop the **** out of them and they turn out good, if only it was like that in real life

i was playing for the bobcats and it was our season opener. (for some reason we were playing outside, halfcourt on a concrete playground, but whatever). so before the game starts, maggette announces he has an injury and wont be playing. then seconds before tip off okafor (yes, he was on the team for some reason) basically says "**** it" and claims he isnt going to play for this awful team and he storms off the court. i was the point guard in the game and i was so pissed at okafor and maggette. the team was really mad and ended up destroying the other team - we were playing to 7 by ones (haha) and we won the game 7-2. after the game we went back in the locker room and we all started yelling at okafor for being a pussy. the coach (who i assume was dunlap) was so mad, he cut both okafor and maggette on the spot.

i didnt even think of the uconn connection between okafor and gordon. they played together and drafted in the same year. this just gets creepier and creepier.
