We should have 'some' interest but Haywood is already playing the role that we would want out of Gortat. It would be worth it if somehow we could flip either Diop or Tyrus or both in the process. It appears as if the Suns need help at SG if they are starting Dudley there and see Shannon Brown as a scorer off the bench. They might be very interested in Hendo.

Henderson, Diop, and the Portland pick for Gortat and Brown? I'd be down. We could use Gortat, but it would likely mean Bismack would be the backup 4, which I like better.

Gortat/Haywood
Mullens/Biyombo/Thomas/Warrick
MKG/Taylor/Reggie
Gordon/Shannon Brown
Kemba/Sessions/Higgins

Extra nice, because it almost guarantees that we amnesty Thomas at season end. Gortat is locked up for a couple more years pretty cheap I think.

I like 8-) even though I think it's possible that we could keep the Portland pick. They will be in almost desperation mode to get rid of Gortat. I think Hendo is can justify as a slightly even swap.

Why desperate to get rid of a double double machine?

Hendo is worth nowhere near Gortat.

I don't think Hendo alone does it and I overrated the hell out of Hendo.

Please explain to me why Phoenix would be desperate to get rid of the best center on their roster who is a pretty decent center period. I think they would seek to trade half their roster before Gorat.

He's apparently OTB because they want to go full on tank mode. Which is the exact reason I wouldn't want him. He's a good C and could add a few too many wins to our record.

We also need to be keeping all the picks we can get not farming them out.

He's apparently very unhappy with his role.

When you factor in their need for a young starting SG and the possibility of paying the luxury tax to keep Gortat on the roster, Hendo's worth to the Suns could become more than higher than bargained for.

Despite having Kaman, Dallas should go for him.

Charlotte trade:

G.Henderson
R.Williams

Charlotte receive:

B.Wright
J.Crowder

Dallas trade:

B.Wright
J.Crowder
R.Beaubois
2nd round pick

Dallas receive:

M.Gortat
R.Williams

Phoenix trade:

M.Gortat

Phoenix receive:

G.Henderson
R.Beaubois
2nd round pick.

^ I don't think Dallas is sending out enough. I love Jae Crowder, but he's not enough. Wright isn't enough to compensate losing Hendo.

If we have up the Portland pick we could probably get Kendall Marshall.

What's the point? We already have Kemba and Sessions. Not to mention Gordon can backup the point if necessary, MKG can bring the ball up if necessary, and it's clear Higgins ain't going anywhere.

The point is Crowder/Wright/Marshall>>>>Henderson/Williams

We're gonna have to pay Hendo at the end of the season and two guys on rookie deals and a bargain basement guy in Wright that would probably start for us is a good trade.

Sessions will be traded before his contract expires imo.

Jordan & Higgins got the 3rd string PG spot reserved for nepotism. Therefore, Marshall is a no-go

Marshall will be the backup change of pace from Kemba after Sessions is traded.

Nepotism definitely killing our third string PG slot though for sure.

Won't Phoenix want a centre back for Gortat?

I think they will try and make him happy before trading him.

I don't see us dealing Sessions, especially this year. He has said in interviews one of the reasons he choose the Cats is that he didn't want to be trade bait like he would have with the Lakers.
