Harrison Barnes dunk vs Minn was insane.

I think having players who can consistently knock down 3's has done wonders for Barnes.

I go to UNC and have seen pretty much every game Barnes played there either in person or on tv, and I always thought UNC was a bad fit for him. Neither Marshall nor Strickland could shoot well, and with the Henson - Zeller duo occupying so much space down low, Barnes was not able to play to his strengths as he was pidgeon-holed into a spot-up shooter kind of role.

I don't think anyone ever thought he wasn't athletic, but rather that he wasn't very agile (which was the case), and therefore couldn't properly utilize his athleticism.

Yeah, even in this play he had a clear path to the basket until he was already in the air. Still a cool dunk, but I don't see him doing that off the dribble often.

Yup, he's really shining in the pro game. He's proving to be a much better slasher than people thought he would be, he has a solid postup game, and we all know how wet the jumper is. He's shown that he can be a force on the boards and is solid defensively. I don't think it's farfetched to say he's got future allstar potential

Even still, I'm glad we have MKG over Barnes. MKG has a much higher ceiling in my opinion.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

James Harden got outplayed by his replacement in his return to OKC. I know he can't wait to get back on the plane & sleep

the pistons are getting their **** together finally. they won by 40 tonight. they have been a completely different team every since they put singler in the starting lineup in place of stuckey. there was even a charlie v sighting tonight.

Imagine what would happen if they traded Stuckey away. They might instantly turn into championship contenders

...but seriously, benching Stuckey was long overdue. He's much better suited as a reserve combo guard

its a combination of singler into the starting lineup and frank getting his lineups together. We actually lead by 10+ at least 4 games in the 8 game skid, but frank left in lineups that couldn't score and chalked up leads. also he's playing dre who's an immediate impact on the game. Knight also decided to start whooping a*

Fear not, we'll come crashing down soon enough, and go right back up. i just like seeing what our team is capable of doing.

oh ya........and CV's been playing well, hopefully well enough to net a first rounder cuz some a* franchise took it. =p

He's a lot more comfortable off the bench and is lot more effective with ball in his hands. Frank started playing knight off him and instantly produced

I was a big Billups fan when he was in college @ Colorado. I never really got intrigued by his NBA career, but I never had anything against him either. He's a humble professional & champion might I add

i only starting my dislike for billups 2 years ago when he was amnestied and then tried to bully teams into not picking him up on waivers. and then last year on the clips, that team was just very unlikable from my POV. bledsoe is the only reason i can even stomach half rooting for the clips. of course, not tonight, wolves are my number #3 team this year behind cats and warriors.

augustin has raised his fg% to 25% and is average up to 3.5ppg. his PER is a ammoesque 6.5. good luck with that next contract.
