Partly due to rumors, but also partly due to Paul George sixers chatter dying down.
Monk resigned, so one less guy Detroit might chase.
Philly options are running lower as well with Pascal resigning.
I am sure they will chase OG, but I that seems like a pipe dream.
I think Morey is going big game hunting or nothing. He seems intent on getting one more star around Embiid and Maxey, so it just depends on if he considers Miles that caliber of player.
I could be totally off base, but I expect the Sixers to get a star or sign a bunch of guys to one year deals and try again next summer.
Philly has 60-75 million to spend depending on if they want to keep some guys around with cap holds.
They could be in the market for Jimmy Butler, Ingram, Lavine via trade and they could still potentially still chase a guy like Kcp or Bridges as well.
Would be extremely difficult to fit in Butler or Lavine + Miles. Everyone except those two Maxey and Embiid would have to be playing for the minimum.
Lavine's contract is $40m with a 15% trade kicker, so 46 if he's traded to Philly. Butler is 45m, and he's still mad Philly chose Harris over him back in the day so he'd have to work through that too. Ingram + Bridges is doable though I'm not sure about that fit.
One of the stars and KCP seems more attainable, and probably a better fit too unless they get Lavine.
