if there’s ever a fanbase that deserves a humiliating blown 3-0 Finals lead it’s the Celtics

it’s not going to happen but for us it’s win win, if the Cs win then we get our coach sooner, if the Mavs win its absolutely devastating for Boston and would be fun to watch the fireworks

Pretty cool our new coach worked the sidelines through this. Boston is a class organization top-to-bottom.

Biggest difference for me was subtraction of Smart and addition of Jrue. Porzingis for cheap as well.

Some of us (myself included) tried to troll away Jaylen Brown when there was some whispers about the Celtics listening on him. Such a smart move to keep and pay that man. He blossomed big time in these playoffs.

Buy-in is easier when you bring this kind of proven track record. It was a great experience for the Celtics, but should serve as a model for the Hornets. It's time the Hornets grow up and find their direction.

Boston played a very complete game most nights in these playoffs. So glad, AGAIN, we hired coach Lee.

Any player here now or coming here will give this man instant respect. He’s been a big part of the championship journey. Hope he gets us out of this ditch and claiming our own banner in a few years. I’m a lifelong Hornets fan, now retired, and want to still be around to see it happen!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Borrego won 2 titles with the Spurs. We canned him. Players only think about $$

Kinda thought Woj or Shams would have a midnight announcement about a team agreeing to resign their FA like happens when FA starts, but I guess not.

Yeah same here, but Hornets aren’t giving Miles a max deal, so Klutch and their client will wait for full free agency. They might be surprised if Hornets say adios and look elsewhere.

Oh I definitely didn't think it would be us. Just thought someone would.

I'll be shocked if Miles commits pre-FA.

Am I the only one who thought the finals, and really the entire playoffs, were kinda lame?

Agreed, the playoffs kinda sucked this year. The only good series were Knicks/76ers and Nuggets/Wolves.

Worst playoffs in a long time. Injuries just destroyed so many teams.

Pretty wild that DET let their coach go so close to the draft and FA. I know they just hired Langdon, but that's gonna make for a weird situation.

78 mil for 1 year of being awful.
Worst coaching hire in league history, considering the money vs output?

I wonder if its gonna come out that they were moving on a while ago but LAL wanted Monty and Detroit was hoping for compensation/paying the rest of the contract or something but the Lakers wouldn't budge
