Hollinger ruined that team with his analytics. Basketball isn't baseball. There's matchups, lineups, chemistry, & etc. to consider. Not to mention, it's been rumored that he has been making calls down to the floor, telling their new head coach how to manage the team. Them new owners need to ship him back to ESPN gift wrapped before they'll be selling that team off in another 3-5 years

Mike Conley was also out tonight for them. I mean hell, Jon Leuer got 23 mins for them :o
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Mike Woodson is just absolute trash as a coach. I've never seen someone panic at the end of a game and just let his players chuck up a shot without calling a timeout to strategize. I hope they lose tonight against the Bucks just for that

He was pretty good at Florida.

It appears the Knicks are still going to win by virtue of the Bucks being one of the worst teams in the league. Another terrible coach in that game, Larry Drew. Its a miracle he's kept his job as well

Quincy Pondexter is out for the season with a stress fracture in his foot. However, before the injury he was one of the players that Hollinger directed Joerger to bench because his PER wasn't high enough

I think what's more glaring about the shortcomings of the East is that Boston is currently the 4 seed

well that sucks....his PER wasn't that bad 10.7 pretty decent for a 3pt shooting role player

How long do you think it is before the teams in the West are crying for realignment?

Charlotte can steal that #3 seed away from Atlanta if Clifford touch up on his substitution patterns. He's getting better though

Yeah, no Ben Gordon in the 2nd half was a big reason we won tonight.

Side note, my dad (who knows very little about basketball) was watching this one and he asked me "Are we forced to play this Gordon guy? He's horrible. I hope the Bobcats aren't forced to pay him more than a million dollars."
investigate Adam Silver
