People get obsessed with it, that's just how it goes.

I'd be curious to know how people think it impacts his play. Does he post his workout times on a twitter feed or something?

He's in the NBA. Why are we assuming it's not an endorsement?

Yeah maybe. That's just not their model, they don't own any of the gyms they just license the name and run coaching seminars and collect the money. Could be through their relationship with Reebok, is that where he has his shoe deal? If not I'd be pretty surprised if it was an endorsement.

He works out with this local cross fit trainer. I've seen Biyombo reference him on twitter a couple times, and he doesn't have that many followers. I think he runs a relatively small little gym.

Biz seems like the dude I'd most want to hang out with on the Hornets roster. His tweets are always positive, doesn't seem to be an ego maniac. I really hope he keeps improving, I'm rooting for his success.

We are going to see big step In the right directions with biz. He's going to anchor that 2nd line and be a terror for the other team.

I wanted to see how Gordon and Williams played against us thanks to the League pass.

And for those who have the opportunity to do it, please look at the impact Biz had on the game when he entered at the 3:12.

Just look at him, it was impossible for the jazz to come inside the paint.

That's probably a given since he's not on that SL team, right?

MKG isn't on the SL team and hes been there everyday.

What does MKG have to do with your previous statement?

You said its a given because hes not on the SL team. MKG isn't on the SL team and hes been working out with them daily. I think he may even be flying out with them to Vegas. Not sure, though.

What MKG has been doing is irrelevant. It's probably a given that Biz hasn't been working on his game as much as last year b/c he had to prepare for the SL he had to play in. No SL duties for Biz so less training by default, probably.

Your inclusion of MKG into the discussion is just a thinly veiled dig at Biz for conceivably working on his game less than other players. Nobody knows that Biz is not working on his game just as much in Africa, he took a pic with Mutombo FFS. I don't really care that Biz is not in Charlotte with the team right now b/c he's still the same guy that Kemba had to kick out of the gym.

Not really a dig at the guy. I just want him to be our future starting center, and he seems to be falling behind a little bit, or it seems that way. His camps in Africa on top of his infatuation with cross fit, mainly the cross fit just bother me a little.

So having any sort of life beyond basketball = falling behind. Got it.

I think it's awesome he's doing basketball without borders.

Ball is life, but there is a big wide world out there, biz is giving back, can't fault him for that.

i cant believe anyone is giving biz crap about running basketball camps in africa this month rather than shooting jumpers on the practice court. what he is doing is awesome and he deserves a ton of respect for doing what he is doing over there.

plus, he is running a basketball camp, i am sure he is spending plenty of time with a basketball in his hands.

its good for these guys to get away from the gym for a while in the offseason. everyone needs that break. we joke about biz doing too much crossfit and not enough basketball, but all jokes aside, if biz never improves much more, it wont be due to lack of effort and trying.

do your thing biz

I did come off pretty stupid mentioning his camps, but I just want him to improve, alot. Oh well, maybe he s working out down there as BrotherDave mentioned.
