Interesting tidbit from the Atkinson story. I'm rooting for Borrego!

Re: Around the NBA 12
What is the rationale between splitting up the draft into two nights? I get it for the football draft which has outrageously long times in between each pick and a 7 rounds. But what is the point to separate the second round into a separate day and not put it on even at a good time for most people to watch?
Are they adding more time in between the pics and the second round or something? Who was asking for this? I can't imagine it does anything to change TV viewing.

Kenny Atkinson can go **** himself. Should've been damn near black balled after what he did to us.

Re: Around the NBA 12
The NBA has the laziest national coverage of all sports, or is it just an American thing? The amount of paid "analysts" that only watch 2 or 3 teams regularly is concerning.

Re: Around the NBA 12
the nba/espn/tnt allowed and seemingly encouraged or rewarded this weird landscape where being ignorant about the bottom 15 teams is allowed under the "why should i bother wasting my energy on those teams because they can't win a ring". they have analysts at every level **** on players and franchises. they joke about nobody wanting to watch half the teams. this culture of rings or you are irrelevant has been pushed by media and players for decades. it's almost like, in school when trying hard, studying and being a nerd are laughed at when it comes to discussing players and teams. all compounded by the desperation for controversial clips to go viral, so you put dumbasses and loudmouths on screen and hope they do something to create a viral clip.

I feel like Ainge would have accepted less for Markkanen and that's a much better fit for the Knicks, they are relying too much on Brunson

Mikal is more than capable of being a point forward. Brunson can play off the ball plenty if he needs a break. Randle is coming back next season as well. Brunson, Mikal, OG, and Randle is freaking stout.

THIS IS INSANITY. I mean where is their future? I get it the future is NOW, but that is a seriously filthy haul for the Nets.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Re: Around the NBA 12
So, if Mikal is worth basically 6 first round picks, how much is Miles worth in a sign & trade?
