^ I have no particular allegiance to any college team but I soo hope Wiggins picks Carolina.

It will provide such a compelling story line with Parker at Duke and we'll get to see the #1 and #2 wing prospects in the country face off multiple times.

Yeah, that would be some amazing drama. Also might make my tarheels relevant again.

Ewww a Canadian on my Tar Heels!!! Jk lol! I would absolutely LOVE if Wiggins picked Carolina. I doubt he does though. If I had to bet, I'd say he chooses Florida St.

Andrew Wiggins will create his rivalry versus Jabari Parker within the ACC as a Florida State Seminole, not UNC. His good friend and current high school teammate Xavier Rathan-Mayes has already chose FSU. I'm almost sure that's where Wiggins is leaning too unless Calipari can pull off one hell of a deal under the table to sway him to Kentucky.

Ill paypal you 50$ if any player picks FSU over Kentucky and UNC.

I seriously doubt that we'll make a blockbuster trade before the deadline. Maybe something small like the Carroll-Warrick deal but we'll see.

Prepare to pay that half a man then. Andrew Wiggins is a rare transcending talent that would dare not to follow in the path of past Kentucky Wildcats NBA draftees. I'm sure Wiggins would want to create his own legacy and leading a overlooked university like FSU to the Final Four would put the icing on the cake.

I agree with the FSU destination being a very real possibility but more-so due to both his parents having attended there and him having been inundated with all things FSU since he was in diapers.

Yeah right! If Wiggins can as a freshman lead a team with no other future nba players to the final four he really does deserve to go number one!

He could go to play for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the venerable Summit League and, barring injury, would still be a damn near lock to go #1

By that logic he should just go to South Carolina (my school) and still be close to a certain NBA team.

That would be awesome to see him pick the Jacks out of the blue.

I could see L.A.-Charlotte connecting on draft day with a trade that sends:

Gasol to Charlotte for even money in contracts along with a lotto pick

A 20/10 C without the financial burden (Ben Gordon would be one contract moved and perhaps another to make it even deal)

We don't have no need for an evaporating Pau Gasol on our rebuilding from the ground up roster unless he was an expiring contract in which he is not.

He expires the same time as Gordon. If it was just Gasol for Gordon, I'd do it easily if the contracts match up. Doubt the Lakers would do it though. They know perfectly well Gasol would just go back to being an 18/10 guy here. Imagine what contenders could give for one year of Pau Gasol. OKC would almost definitely offer up their young guys.

There is no way I'm sending a lottery pick for Gasol

Agreed, I hope our front office doesn't do anything stupid trying to fulfill their promise of getting a "max" player.
