Any way Orlando could work out a Vuc for Zeller trade? You get out of his money faster and play Vuc off the bench as a compliment to Dwight.

We all love Zeller and think he fits well with Howard, and he has a pretty good deal.

I would love if we could get Ryan Anderson and Beverly here. Ryan's contract is pretty bad but Beverly's is a steal. Rockets would have to unload a couple of 1st to dump Ryno.

What about Anderson/Beverly/2 1st lottery protected 2nd one turns into 2nds for Marvin and Sessions to a 3rd team?

I think Anderson's contact is pretty decent. Probably the best shooting big in league and he fits great with Houston scheme.

I don't want to trade both picks, but I would love to traded 11 for a dead eye if neither Monk or French Frank drops. We now need shooters more than ever.

Use the MLE for wing depth. Draft either Monk or Isaac at 7.

Package 31 + future protected 1st + salary (Lamb? Who else is expendable?) for a starting caliber wing.

I agree that Rubio + 7 for MKG + 11 would be amazing, but it doesn't seem realistic.

Patrick Beverly for Sessions does though. If that rumor about Hou wanting to cut salary is real, then I hope Cho is all over it.

If Isaac or Tatum are there at 7 we should do it. That said the Wolves won't trade back if Isaac is there, they likely would for Tatum.

I still want Smith more than anyone else though.

Normally, I would be against that Minnesota trade (not a Rubio fan), but enough things come together for me to go with it.

Rubio and MKG would have never been able to coexist, especially on a team with Dwight and Cody getting essentially all of the minutes at the five. So having an outgoing nonshooter helps relieve that to a degree.

Plus, the talent dropoff from 7 to 11 in this draft is real and might be worth the MKG to Rubio downgrade. Assuming someone like Isaac doesn't fall, I'm really high on Monk, but have been a little concerned with how he would fit. I mean, Monk and Kemba could work for small stretches against the right matchup, but ideally you'd put him next to a big, defensive PG that can pass... while Rubio needs to be next to an elite shooter who can score. They'd make for a damn nice backcourt duo off the bench.

Having said that, I feel like Minnesota should throw in a second or something...

Minnesota can keep Rubio, I want Dennis Smith at 7. Think there's any chance they'd be interested in Marvin and 11 for 7, with no players on their end coming back?

True. Maybe move him to Minny for Rubio to help cover while Smith develops.
