Huh? I might argue the case that Quincy Miller might be even more athletic than Earl Clark.

After further research Quincy Miller had a higher vertical jump (+3), bench pressed more (+3), and ran a faster lane agility test (.12 seconds) than Earl Clark did at the draft combine.

And Miller has better handles, better range, can create his own shot and has a pretty nice bag of offensive tricks.

I wanted Miller at 31. I would've drafted him earlier than 31 if we had a pick in the 20s. I think it would be great if we could nab him.

That's why I said "more perimeter oriented"

He's a tall guard, not a stretch 4. The similarities between him and Clark aren't very high in number

Quincy Miller is every bit of the stretch 4 that Earl Clark is. Miller is a decent rebounder and shot blocker.

He's not post player capable of stretching the floor. He's a wing.

Just like Durant and Paul George aren't stretch 4s just because they're tall and can rebound

Kevin Durant is very capable of being a stretch 4 and I'm pretty sure that's what he'll settle into within another 3-4 years. As far as Paul George he was only 6'8" when he was drafted and just happened to grow a few inches so of course he's not accustomed to being in the post.

SWedd523, what is your definition of a stretch 4? Because the last time I checked it was a player at least the size of a PF that has the ability to play the perimeter.

Durant a stretch four in a few years

A stretch 4 is a newer term for the 4 man that can how extend his jumper out past the 3 point line. You need to be able to distinguish between a wing playing the four spot (because of how today's nba is evolving) versus a 4 man with an outside jumper.

There are also tweeners and hybrids obviously.

Ryan Anderson is a stretch 4. He's a 6'10 PF that takes 7.5 3's a game.

Actually, I've heard Durant say as much in an interview (Dan Patrick show maybe?) Not in a few years but once he gets on the down slope of his career, kind of like Lamar Odom, I can definitely see that happen.

Maybe. I'd rather have them remove/lessen the protection on the pick they already owe us if that's possible. I'm not a fan of Bynum for us at all, the pick is the trophy in that deal.

I would (assuming the FO doesn't have plans to get a max player at Toodle's position) BUT I doubt Washington does b/c they're actually trying to make the playoffs, lol.

Hell no. Bismack is turning a corner, he's untouchable. Sessions is more than solid for us, he's a good contract. DMC is a complete mess, do not want (anymore). Evans is looking like a bust to me.

DMC is a 20/10 mess. He can be as much of a mess as he wants to be and I'll be thrilled with that production. I'm not one to say "trade Biz" but if we're trading him along with our sixth man for DMC alone, there is no way I'm saying no to that. That's insane. Screw fit, Tyreke is arguably the worst fit in the entire league on this roster, but I'd take it for the sheer value that he holds. We'd trade him away almost instantly, but we'd get something substantial. Trading Biz, Sessions, and Turtle for DMC and Tyreke would be the heist of a decade. I highly doubt SAC does that.

Sheeit, you want to shortchange the rebuild for empty stats and inefficient a-holes? No thanks.

not really sure where to post this article. it has a bit about trades, the draft, free agency, MKG and dunlap - handful of new quotes from higgins inside.

I HATE how people say "missed out on Davis", MKG has a ceiling 10x's higher than Davis and to be honest, considering Davis is on a team that even though they are bad, most of the roster actually belongs in the NBA, he has been VERY unimpressive, in fact, I bet he wouldn't even average 11pts 7reb on this team!

And to be honest, instead of hoping and wishing to land a solid Center, we need to just sign Greg Oden to a one year deal, at least we know when he's healthy he is VERY solid.....
