I haven't voted. I'll have mine in tonight when I have more time to dive into each team.

ESALs voting:

1. Fat Lever- Top to bottom he has the most talent among having one of the best big three in Malone, Malone, and Magic. He also might have the best fit as well. Each player has a role to fill. Each player plays well off each other and are good teammates. Elite play making, some elite defenders, and a fair number of guys that are gonna fill the bucket up.

2. Coolio- To be honest I had no intention of voting for Coolio as the draft was going on. Kobe is going to be demanding. I get the love for Stockton, but I'm not one of those guys. But the talent is undeniable. And Kobe can be demanding because he doesn't really have anybody that will demand to score. Everybody else can get their buckets through ball movement and getting open. Not too mention a Duncan, McHale front court is just a wonderful combo. Maybe the two most fundamental big men to ever get the job done in the NBA. A lot of good teammates and the best in Duncan. The talent and ability to play together won me over in the end. Side note. I'd pay to watch Kobe and Laimbeer yell at each other I'm practice all night.

3. Diop- Kareem and Bird is a nightmare for everyone. Throw in Chris Paul just wanting to distribute, Bosh stretching out to midrange and Wade just a maniac on the attack. There are plus defenders across the board and the paint is almost completely shut down with KAJ and Bosh. Livingston gives a great and different look off the bench. And holy hell I haven't even gotten to Nique yet.

HM: Gatz has one hell of a trio with Dirk/Shaq/Durant. My concern came later on down the line in the roster. Maybe I'm underrating what three guys can do, but the depth doesn't match up with other teams IMO and when a lot of teams have great talent at the top I think the depth separates teams.

HM: YB. I just admire how he drafted around LeBron. That's a hell of a way to build a team. It's worked for every team in his career so why not here. My concern just came with the overall talent. Teams with the most talent tend to win out unless they are major headcases and not many headcases on the teams in my top 3. I really like how YB built around LeBron, but to make that perfect you do have to sacrifice talent abd in my mind it was a little too much to break into the top 3.

Gold: Diop - Best starting lineup, IMO. Bird + Kareem FTW!
Silver: Gatz - That's a hellish frontline!
Bronze: yosemiteben - I like how this team is built around LBJ.

Was just checking out the PC board, it appears the general consensus there is that Bird and Magic cannot compare with Lebron, they're just not as good. . .

Hope to have at least the regular season on the whatifsports sim done tonight. Some interesting stuff so far.

The funniest so far was a double OT game between Ian and Yosemite. Jordan vs LeBron. Ian won by 3.

But the funny part was that in both regulation and OT, LeBron hit a go ahead shot with around 4-7 seconds left on the clock. Then Jordan hits two buzzer beaters to send it to OT and Double OT.

Still trying to catch up to the greatest.

My votes:

(1) Gatz (I love the way this team is built. Durant - Dirk - Shaq is just money, and Hayward and Conley with them makes tons of sense. Westbrook and Iggy off the bench is money.)

(2) Lamar (Love the speed of this team, and Payton - Hakeem pairing is fantastic and maybe favorite of this draft, other than my LeBron - Peja pairing...)

(3) ESAL (I don't love Rodman killing the spacing next to the Admiral in the starting unit, but I think this team has enough offensive firepower and has the tools defensively to do some damage.)

Not gonna lie, Coolio's team was dead last in my rankings. Only one of my top three teams made the final top three. I didn't think my rankings would be that far off from the final vote.

I just don't think ball dominant PGs like Stockton, Kidd, and Paul will work well with dominant wings like MJ, Kobe, and Wade. That's it.
