Hes a similar archetype to Monk and both of his college seasons were worse than Monks freshman year by a considerable margin. I'm not assuming his 3pt% is going to jump like 5%-8% from college to the pros.

Monk also played with a team full of NBA players with an excellent PG. Bouknight didn't have that luxury, he's also a fair bit bigger than Monk and is better at attacking the rim which is a weakness of ours.

He's a fair bit bigger than Monk??

Moody and Kispert are a fair bit bigger than Monk.

Boog looks pretty much exactly as small as Monk is.

Mitch, deal with OKC to get Sengun if he’s available at 16.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Shocking that people are upset over a potential 3 level scorer with the ablitiy to handle the ball fell in our laps, and prefer taking a 1 dimensional shooter like Krispert

Right? Bouknight at least has some star potential

Kispert is unplayable if his shot isn't falling.

And it would have likely been pre-arranged. If so, then the decision is moot.

Yeah, someone explain this to me. He was projected to go top half of the lottery

That's what happened with Monk too. And then Luke Kennard got drafted the next pick and turned out to be a significantly better player. And then Mitchell and then Bam. Monk was a legitimately terrible pick and showed that he fell for a reason.

Bouknight is so similar to Monk it makes people uneasy.

Us taking the "Top 6" players who happen to fall to us hasn't worked. Monk and Vonleh? Bleh. Hopefully Bouknight doesn't continue that trend.

Neither Moody nor Kispert have a handle and Monk is 6'3 while Bouknight is 6'5.

Bouknight is 6'5". That's much bigger than Graham, Monk and Kemba.

He is fairly similar to Jamal Murray, if James can improve his shooting. Pre-draft workouts had him shooting lights out.

I have a funny feeling that the only 2 players we could have drafted that would have made everyone happy was either Primo or Moody

Kispert is dreamy to look at with his new hair-do.

Bouknight just said he was pissed so many teams passed on him.

Hopefully he was just pissed he did not go top 10 and will use that as fire
I would rather have taken Alperen or Moody but this is an upgrade to Monk on a priced in deal

Double-breasted?

So glad we didn't draft this guy.

I love Bouknight. Keep him, he can be a star. Deal with OKC for the 16pick and take Sengun. Surely we have something to offer for the extra pick…a player and/or future pick.

I swear to God - you mention Primo 1 more time and I will suspend you from the board.
