Wizards beat the Rockets on a familiar face's free throw. As long as they stay healthy, they should be in the playoffs next season. Beal's coming into his own and they're already great on defense.
Humble yourself.

Probably good news considering how terrible this draft is.

If this was the 2014 season and it ended today, we wouldn't get Detroit's pick and it would become top-1 protected in 2015. Detroit has a great shot at finishing bottom 8 in 2014 if Drummond's back issues turn out to be chronic. If that's the case then we really have a huge asset. Greg Monroe maybe shouldn't re-sign there.

Watching that pick next year is going to be the highlight of the season. It's win-win, really. If we get it next year we have multiple 1sts in a deep draft and if we get it in 2015 then we'll have a great pick to replace the one we'll lose to Chicago.

It's hard not to get excited about Kemba, MKG, top-5 in 2013, top-5 in 2014 and top-1 protected in 2015.

That's enough to field a team of 5 high lottery picks. Plus the Portland pick is an asset. Plus cap space.

At some point we are going to have to consolidate our talent, otherwise we are going to end up like the Nuggets. Deep team with lots of really good players but no superstar (the 2013 draft won't yield us one either) and a ton of role players. If we can put everything together, our future picks, our role players, etc into two top 5 picks in 2014, we are in incredible shape for the future.

Getting a high 2015 pick out of Detroit is a long shot. More likely than not they are close to the playoffs next season.

I'm watching this T'Wolves-Warriors game wondering how much would it have taken to sway Derrick Williams from Kahn. I remember Williams' value being considered low in the early season but he's got 23 points and 12 rebounds right now.

Rudy Gay -- 1-for-11, five turnovers in a home loss to Washington tonight. Meanwhile, Memphis is on a seven-game winning streak. I feel sorry for Toronto fans.

b-b-but I wish we could be like Toronto!

$38 million tied up in a Rudy Gay, DeMar DeRozan, Andrea Bargnani unit that has no shot of being anything than 1st round fodder for the foreseeable future.

Sore knee?

Smells like a tank...

Kyrie is a bit fragile and injury-prone. I don't think anything is fishy with this news but more so a possible concern for the Cavaliers front office.

the warriors and pacers got in a fight? and curry was in the middle? what? man, those pacers are gonna fight every team in the league before the season is over. on one hand, i think they are thugs, but on the other hand i love that they are carving out an identity as a blue collar tough guy team, same identity they had in the 70s when they ruled the ABA. tradition.

Curry was thrown around by a rag doll.

Hibbert is nuts.

Doug Collins won't be fired after this season, but I can definitely see him being on the hot seat next season if the 76ers struggle. Could be on our radar in the future.

I like Collins not his fault the centerpiece of his team has been out all season.
