Well its not like we won't have the cap space to do so.

this deal also takes 3 million in cap space that we didn't have in the first place

Is Charlotte the NBA's safe haven for white American post players?

Just say no to Kaminsky.
Humble yourself.

We'll pay him because he'll be a good player for us.

Welcome to my hell. Reeks of "make the playoffs or you're done." We trade our youngest, probably highest-potential player because they don't think he could contribute to the playoffs in the time Cho has left.

I get why people are upset about Vonleh being traded, but Batum is still young and compliments our entire roster extremely well. We actually might look like a modern day team instead of an 80s team next season. Im excited.

my issue isn't the talent and fit that we get in return. It's that if we don't sign him after next year it will be a God awful trade.

Why not just have both Turner and Vonleh? If this was an organization that actually developed players they could have been an interesting dominate front court. Two bigs who could stretch the floor, play defense, and one a pretty good rim protector.

Well we will definitely have the money to give him. So at least that won't be an issue.

My friend just sad "Blazers make out like bandits. Unless Charlotte knows Vonleh is a bust, but it's Charlotte so they probably don't know ****"

:(
I actually don't hate it though. When healthy Batum is a great two way player, massive upgrade over Henderson. Hate that he's on an expiring, and I really hope we assessed Vonleh properly.

Batum is a great defender and Lamb can defend as well. We can develop wings that are 2 way players.

If we select Turner, we have 2 bigs who are 2 way in Cody and Turner.

Turner or Kaminsky come on down

I think it's Turner. He has range PLUS shot blocking.

I think Cody is still on the chopping block.

I can't see us starting a rookie Pf and hopefully they've learnt that Marv doesn't work.

I think Zeller might be safe

Zeller is safe, but I wouldn't rule out a MKG plus 9 to move up into the top 4 though.

If he does that I am done. With what we screwed up tonight the move can't be for Russell so it would be a very bad trade.

MKG may never play in crunchtime ever again. Batum will get all the closing minutes. So unless one of them can convince Cliff to play them at SG or PF, MKG will be on the bench.
