They tanked the year they got Barnes.

Watching Raps Bucks. Seeing Biyombo miss layup after layup is just painful.

Biz also had 10 rebounds in 19 minutes, so it wasn't like he was completely useless.

I have noticed that he has been fouling like crazy playing for Toronto. He had improved in that area so much here, but every game I've checked the box score for hes had at least 4 fouls. There was one game where he fouled out in like 15-20 minutes or something like that. Maybe it is a difference in coaching philosophy and they are telling him to not be afraid to foul? Still seems really excessive though.

Yeah I think they're getting biz to be super aggressive defensively, hence the fouls.

Bring him in as an energy, defensive big. Let him go nuts in limited minutes

two of the misses were just awful. he had the ball in his hands, it was above the rim and all he needed to do was either dunk it or let it go.

and both times, for some reason, he tried putting some extra spin on it and missed it. the second one should have been a two-handed dunk.

Another night those dink shots are going to go in and BB is giving you 7 & 10 + 1 block in 19 mins. He can really help a team that doesn't need him to score. And if he really is still 23 he has years to get better.

To me, though, the main thing about Biz is he would allow this Hornets team to play a high energy style of ball. Talking about playing 1 in 4 out is fine and good but Al is just so lethargic. Totally low energy on defense. Turgid on offense. He cost us the ATL game by not attempting to rebound two consecutive offensive boards to ATL. He made one or two quick decisions to move the ball but he's just too low energy, holding back players like Kemba, Lin, Zeller, for example, who look so much better playing fast. Charlotte is playing 4 bball players out 1 dinosaur in.

Julius Randle looks fantastic. I was one of the only ones that lobbied for him in last years draft. What Charlotte wouldn't give for Randle, Smart, Elfried Payton, Willie Cauley Stein right now. Sucks so hard

I love him as much as the next guy does, but, let's be honest.. He's been missing those dinkers and dumpers his whole career now. Yeah, that's true about an "another night", but every other night he can also leave four points out there by missing them. Why should he suddenly start making them? His hands seemingly just aren't good enough.

So Drummond will be an RFA next season after being another from that draft class not extended.

Would you throw huge money at him?

If I wasn't 100% sure Detroit would match any offer I would probably offer Drummond a max contract. Hes already one of the best rebounders of all time and his defensive potential is insane. I doubt he'll ever be a go to guy offensively, but he just does so much that can help a team win games.

No he'll get max money and offering him would tie up FA cap space for around 3 days while other teams get deals done. Detroit wanted to sign him for slightly less knowing they'd max him regardless if pressed.

Of course. I'd be way more comfortable throwing him the max than throwing $12M to Hassan Whiteside.

Is Karl Anthony Towns the best young prospect in the league?

I'd take Davis over him.

Oh yeah lol, without a doubt. I wasn't even thinking about Davis as a young prospect because hes already MVP level. Jesus Christ that dude is scary...
