Yes sir!

We can develop our own version of PG/Kawhi. Not saying either will be that level of player, but they have the skillset to develop into something special.

Ohh man Furphy playing a lot better lately and just drop a monster double double. This draft is getting interesting to me.

Can we get some real prospects in the convo and not some guys who likely won't get drafted or if they do be drafted in the bottom of the 2nd. We need to talk about real players in the top 5. Not nobodies.

For example Cody next to Miller looks like an awesome fit. If we can't get him sarr looks good aswell and can finally be the guy to take minutes from pj and play center when Williams is out. Walter seems like Moses moody. Idk about him he's not explosive from what I've seen, if someone can post highlights showing his explosiveness and ability to finish at the rim strong that would be great.

I totally agree man, The nerve of some of these people. Who do they think they are...?

I think there is a MUTE//FOE button so you don't have to read their suggestions...

BREAKING NEWS a draft consist of 60 players, possible trades and those suspected too, who don't often go drafted...

Not to mention your team often has more than one selection AND players *Josh Primo* who surprisingly fall UP to you. and the fact the mock changes as the year goes on.

Isn't it awesome that some people have the INTELLIGENCE to actually see that this can happen...

One more thing, take just a year ago, I was the first to mention Brandon Miller, Treven Brazile, Brandin Podziemski, Gradey Dick and Anthony Black just to name a few. Most of them if not all weren't NEAR the top 3 to begin the season. By the time we ended the season they were all in that discussion...

I also have to point out that there are something called INJURIES that can happen i.e Trevan Brazile or your team can start winning/losing which can change your position.

Kobe Bryant *who was my pick trust me* >>>>>>>>>>>>Vlade Divac

with that selection being the worst draft day decision in HISTORY we alllllllll need to consider the possibilities of the possibility lmao

edit

and imo you are allll very intelligent and respected minds on this board. I don't think anyone is better than anyone just different

Is this take on Alex Sarr accurate? Rebounding numbers don't look encouraging but I remember calling Melo's production in the NBL underwhelming. Sad I'm looking at him because of what's going on with Mark.

As a “next star” contract he is babied a bit, so he’s sat out several games for soreness and slowly eased back in. Both Giddey and ball didn’t the season as it’s all about the draft. He’s shown the effort to be active on the boards but not great at blocking out, he is skinny.

I’ve liked his defense and he is skilled offensively, he’s more of a power forward than centre.

Ball looked so inefficient in nbl, it blew me away how quickly he turned it around in the nba

He's still way too soft for a team like Charlotte that really needs a tough and agressive big, not another perimeter big that shys away from contact.
I really doubt he will drastically improve that since it's part of his personnality. And anyway, i am not sure he has a reliable dribble drive in his bag. He has a post game though. He would be a project
A guy like Batcho would probably be a better big for this team and he won't get drafted most likely. But he's there in the part you need the most : toughness, good picks, rebounding, passing and he developed a perimeter jumper. The down part being the athleticism, the turnovers and the injury prone history.

Tillman will hit free agency, if FO does not trade for him, he should be on the priority list as Memphis cant really affford to keep him. and he's still young. Especially if PJ is on the trade block next season (something they should do considering his good contract, the return could be nice).

I would not draft bigs/frontcourt player, except if one good potential is available (esp. to avoid another Eason fiasco) or i would explore another draft&stash since there are a few decent euro in this draft.

The main issue right now is the backcourt and wing holes. And piling on assets to mix vet with playable prospects.

Here are the main questions that I ask about every prospect.

1 If a casual was watching the game would the player stand out and be noticed?

2 If the player had similar stats in his rookie year to what he is putting up now would that be a success?

3 Does he know how to play basketball? That is can he pass, dribble, give effort on defense and box out instinctively?

Maybe some prospects step up during March Madness. This college season has been pretty boring so far.

You forgot can he shoot.

Looking for great measurables and being "fluid" and "athletic" are the best way to get yourself a bust if it doesn't come with matching production.

College sophomores coming off the bench averaging 7 points per game probably aren't going to make it in the NBA. Even if they are 7 foot tall with impressive wingspans, hand measurements, dong length and girth and can jump out of the gym. This should be pretty obvious but there's always some dumb GM that falls for the hype.

This is a weak draft, last year was seen as a strong draft. Not saying scoring averages are everything and rookies won't improve. But we have been blessed with how good Miller has been. Here are the scoring averages for picks 4-10 this year.

4. 6.5ppg
5. 8.3 ppg
6. 5 ppg
7. 8 ppg
8. 4.9 ppg
9. 4.9 ppg
10. 6.9 ppg

So even if we have an awful season and still pick 3-6 we are probably getting a player that will be a single digit scorer, I think they will help, but I also think they aren't likely a savior to make us better especially if we dump majority of our talent via the trade deadline.
