How much of that is schemes and inconsistent playing time? 36.4% USG for LaMelo, even Brandon looks like a bystander sometimes.

If he can't defend McCain because quick guards blow past him, then what is he even doing of solid value on that end?
Those quick guards run the gleague so every roster has them. Look at Dillingham.
Have to have defenders capable of guarding quick backcourt POA.
I mean very possible it could be a scheming thing although he did come from a system that orbited around Luka in the same way.wilson115 wrote:fatlever wrote:Yeah he's a great defender and I'm still happy we have him, But he is a complete passenger on offense.

The Hornets are +15.4 pts better with Martin on the floor and -24.8 worse off with Green.

Green has obviously been with Luka his entire career, but he's never ever displayed the ability to actually do stuff on offense aside from shoot open 3s. That's all he's there for, and why Dallas was willing to part with him for nothing but cap relief

For comparison, Salaun is doing 6pts on 42/39/77 splits.
I don't understand how a guy who is starting and averaging close to 30mins per game can give you almost no offensive production.
