Game 7 of the NBA Championship, down your top player in the first quarter where he was 3-4 from 3 and leading his team in points.

It's the most tragic injury in NBA history.

It will take a miracle but I really hope pacers pull it off now

Lead by 1 at the half. Miracle in and of itself.

What a huge 3 for Nembhard!

That gives the Pacers a huge psychological edge, not having to come from behind without Haliburton.

Hard-fought half.

1 more to go.

What a depressing game 7. Injury ruined it.

Well done OKC I guess.

nothing but respect to the Pacers, that's a heartbreaking way to not win your first NBA championship

That really sucked to watch
How many times have we seen guys tearing Achilles after rushing back from some type of soft tissue injury? I mean certainly no one blames him from playing in game seven of the NBA finals. Somebody needs to figure out some type of preventive imaging that can detect how close an Achilles is to tearing.

The Magic probably picked a Good year to try to go all in. Good chance the Pacers have a soft reset year along with the Celtics and the Bucks. the East will never be more open than it is next year. obviously the Cavs and knick's should be preseason favorites. Everything went right for Detroit last year so would it be surprising to see them level out a little bit.

East is wide open next year, and as per usual, Hornets somehow have the second worst roster in the East despite a full 5 year rebuild, and currently have no way to take advantage of it or make the playoffs. Miserable franchise

Hes still a floor spacing big who can protect the rim, which are both pretty important to how Indiana plays. He shot nearly 40% from 3pt in the regular season and is at nearly 38% over the last three seasons. He underperformed a bit in the playoffs but was still at 14 ppg and 34% from 3pt, which isn't bad.

Word is that the owners were willing to go into the luxury tax, but its possible the Haliburton injury changes that. I lean towards thinking they should just keep him.

Catastrophic end for Indy.

Silver lining - 5 days before hand they did a trade with NOP to get their own 2026 pick back in exchange for pick 23 in this draft.

Also lol at Turner still potentially being on the trade block.

Weird deal. I think Portland needed to move Simons, but I don't know if this is the kind of package id want. Jrue isn't the greatest fit for what they need at this point and old/declining.

But what about their offense? Wasn't Simons their best young source of it?

I don't really think they were going anywhere with Simons in the long run. jrue can teach the youngsters how to be pros. sharpe Is probably ready for a bigger role. and jrue Will be a great mentor for scoot. culture changer Everywhere he goes.

Hornets didn’t have a piece Boston needs to generate offense. Blazers indeed add a culture setter sorely needed in Charlotte.

But hey we have Josh Green! He plays hard. Salaün too!

Celtics and Lakers get these sweetheart deals every year meanwhile teams like Orlando gotta give damn near a full rebuilding package of picks and young players for a similar non all star guard lul

Return to Charlotte Hornets
