I could do it for the Blazers pick then. I was under the impression that it was the Detroit pick. My apologies, just didnt think Philly would let him go for that pick. I would still like to see Turner sign a long term extension with us if we make the trade though.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

I hope that tweet meant that he's been informed that he's a 6th man for the foreseeable future due to the addition of Gary Neal...

...but I'm sure that's not what the tweet meant

After being somewhat decent (granted, on very few attempts) from the three for most of the year, Hendo has made .214 (0.3/1.4) of his threes during the last 20 games.

Shooting guards who've had seasons of attempting more than 1 three, shooting it at such a percentage and playing more than 30 minutes during the last 20 years:

Marquis Daniels, Tyreke Evans, Larry Hughes (before he adopted a three point shot), Dwyane Wade.

and all 4 of those guys were better playmakers and ballhandlers than hendo. at least two of them were better or equal defenders.

Dwyane Wade, Tyreke Evans, & Larry Hughes were all pseudo-point guards. Henderson doesn't have that excuse of consequence as a shooting guard that attempt 3-pointers at such a scarce rate

Next year, Henderson's contract will be worst on the team.
It has been written...

This was the first time in Hendo's career that he's hit at least two threes in two games in a row.

Congrats, Hendo.

Hendo made a few 3s and played great tenacious defense that helped seal the game today. I hope he continues this play into the playoffs.

Yup and competition within the team is never a bad thing.

I wonder if Hendo would ever reach this level right here:

He should be able too but he won't unless he learns to play within the offense and take better/smarter shots

He looks so uncomfortable as a spot up shooter - anyone else notice the way he checks his footing before he shoots? However, he is 6-10 in the last three games from three, so I say keep at it.

I challenge someone to find another 3rd scoring option on a NBA team that has had less than 11 total 20+ point games through the 2013-14 season

Hendo is one of those guys that doesn't look to out of place on a team like the Cats have been in the past, but once they start playing the kind of basketball they have been playing this season (which is to say professional level basketball, at long last) it brings his talent/ skill into question. I have no doubts that the man can grow as a player, though. I don't see why he couldn't develop into a legitimate 3rd scoring option given time.

The real question is whether or not it's worth waiting out when there are certainly quicker methods of finding that 3rd option.

Hendo is the exact same player he was 2 years ago, the only difference is he has improved his 3pt shot

Gerald this season

14pt/4rb/2.6ast

Gerald in '11-'12

15.1pt/4.1rb/2.3ast
