Are we talking about Seth? Because if you are talking about Steph then you need to recalibrate.

He'd look good in Piston blue.

I like MKG.

Monroe for MKG and our pick back, would you do it?

I love Monroe, always been a huge fan of his - but I doubt I would trade MKG straight up for him, let alone add in your (highly valuable) 1st round pick.

I'd give you the 4th overall pick this year though.

No way. Would consider for Drummond, but adding the pick would probably be too much even for him. Counter-offer: #4, Ramon Sessions, Jeff Taylor for Monroe.

I've mentioned a Monroe for MKG trade a few times in the Detroit forum and they went nuts. I love MKG's future. Monroe is a center, plain and simple. Drummond isn't going anywhere. I love Monroe, just think he is best a center. I'm concerned how two Centers can work in Detroit. It might work.

Add Wiggins in 2014 and that's almost as nice as Kemba, Wiggins, MKG, __PF___, Biz with Hendo, Taylor, Sessions, McBob, and plenty of cap space.

Monroe isn't going to be a Roy Hibbert or even an Al Jefferson. He is what he is, a couple notches below an all-star talent. I certainly would not trade MKG for him. The only young centers I'd consider trading him for are Cousins and Drummond, and even that is very questionable

Monroe is 50x the player Drummond is on offense.

Drummond's freakish athletic ability and defensive game are why he is so valuable already.

But on offense, Moose got some moves for a Big, Monroe has some nice post moves. My concern is his ability to defend the quicker PF's when he makes the switch this year. As a Center, Monroe has just a bright of future as any player at Center. He's very young still.

I'd trade a much nicer package for Monroe than I would Cousins. something like #4, Biz, Taylor, Portland 2014 1st would be appealing to me. you gotta pay up to get a guy like Monroe even if they are motivated to move him there would be plenty of takers. wouldnt part with Gilchrist. I dunno how Pistons fans would feel about that offer. theyd probably have to flip Biz somewhere else but finding a taker wouldnt be that hard

I'd want Monroe playing between MKG and Bismack. You can have #4 and the Portland pick or yours back. I'll even throw in Sessions

Ramon Sessions+#4+Portland first for Greg Monroe is spot on in terms of value imo.

I would do that trade.

Their pick back, the Portland pick and Sessions for Monroe.

Then take McLemore at #4 (because he becomes a lot more attractive with a guy like Monroe on the team who will get McLemore open looks).

Kemba - McLemore - MKG - Biz - Monore

Kemba would take it up a notch too with a guy like Moose on the roster as well.

The only question is will we do what could be considered a win now move at this point in our rebuild?

Monroe will make us a lot more talented but will we lose enough games next season to be in the Wiggins/Parker/Randle sweepstakes?

Monroe is the best young big in the game imo, I would take him over Cousins 10 times out of 10 and Bismack would cover his defensive deficiencies quite well.

With Monroe were not getting a top 5 pick in next years draft, but I'm not sure we will be bad enough to get one anyway.MMonroe would be perfect for this team.

Hey, they would actually have a point guard then, that would jeopardize the pick they owe us. Not a fan, they could be other throw-ins.

I think they'd start Knight or Stuckey over him and bring him off the bench. Our pick is safe.

seeing leonard have such a major impact in this series should really make all of us smile. there is no reason MKG can't be every bit as good as leonard, or better.
