in before BD's "empty stats" rant

Either way, I expect he took a total of 2 free throws that game. 32 post-ups against his 6'2 matchup.

We've now had 2 players of the week this season.

We're slowly but surely getting there.

This guy is finally getting his chance to have his own team and it's showing.

Al is officially underpaid imo, people laugh at his contract but he's a 20/10 (at least) player in a league that has very few of them, he's twice the player of a couple that got the max...

We're winning, so people can STFU about him being boring, overrated or overpaid.

Our players don't know how to play after receiving accolades. First Kemba lay a stinker after POTW and now Jefferson does the same.

Just read the article, it's pretty great. I love this part :

"The day Jerry West showed up, Big Al cooked up 62 points with 21 rebounds and 11 blocks, eyeing The Logo in the stands to gauge his reaction. He learned only after the game that he'd been checking out the wrong middle-aged white guy."

The throwback Jefferson is doing his pump-faking, back-to-the-basket best to participate in the traditional big man renaissance being headlined by Joakim Noah and Tim Duncan. There were skeptics who voiced their opinions when the Bobcats made Jefferson their target in free agency. But he's worked out beautifully as the anchor for coach Steve Clifford's rebuilding project in Charlotte. There was just enough hope for an All-Star berth that when it didn't come, Jefferson had a reason to refocus and crank his production up even more after the break (he averaged 20.1 ppg and 10.5 rpg before All-Star weekend and has averaged 24.6 ppg and 10.3 rpg since then).

In the Heat/Pacers game, JVG went on a mini rant on how Jefferson should be top 7 in the MVP voting and Clifford should be near the top for coach of the year. Talked about how much we have improved overall and how much Jefferson has done for our minimal offense.

Massive exposure and props with many eyes watching that game.

Van Gundy repping his coaching tree!

The Big Sunshine deserves his praise and to be recognised on a wider scale.

only acceptable answers
1) it was during a commericial
2) it was during a halftime
