Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
I’m reading this as Klutch parading Bridges around to the highest bidder (any bidder, at this point). There isn’t much they can offer us.

Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
Geez…that idea for two MORE guards is ridiculous, UNLESS we can get a third team involved and swap guards for a POWER FORWARD!
Powell is good but another small guard, wrong age at 31, who’s owed for this season and the next. Mann is just sorta OK and an expiring…but we just got Josh Green! Of COURSE they’d love to add Miles…they have no PF’s worth a crap that we could include in a trade. PJ Tuck was once good but he’s 39. Hell no to Batum coming back here.
What team wants to send out a quality PF for some quality guards? Utah want any of this action? I’d sure take Markkanen, or even John Collins if we can send the right mix.
Who else?

Maybe we can get Zubac for him? Would be a nice Mark contingency plan and maybe let us move Richards for a big desperate team.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Mason Plumlee just signed with the Suns, don't know who their third string center is but doubt they want them to start.

Seriously the Jazz could use some quality guards on that team. If they’d send Markkanen for some group of guards Clips and ours, I’d possibly include a draft pick. For John Collins they’d probably be happy with with Powell, Bertans and another guard we can throw in.

Do the Clippers even exist post FA? It's like a couple of old dudes playing cards, Zubac, and a whispered rumor of Kawhi.

Jazz will want more than some guards and a pick. Lauri is a stud. More like 3 future first and a solid player in return.

They are in a world of hurt…losing George and trying to stay relevant.
They’ve got nothing for us unless we can swap stuff for the right 4 with a third team.

Agree, which is why I’d be happy with Collins who I think would fit very well here. Quality player, shoots, rebounder, legit big man who’s still just 26.

Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
Lauri doesn't make us a legit threat in the East. Keep stocking 1st round picks we can make a play for a real star down the line.
Collins/1st for Bridges is a solid offer. Collins can be that emergency center if Mark goes down. He can also play next to both Mark and Richards. Win/Win

I forgot about Harden, but I always forget about Harden. Yeah, LAC has zero to offer. Third team for sure. The whole thing seems so very, very Klutchy. The transparent 'leaks,' etc. Gross.

Swear it seems like Collins is like 32

Yeah he was drafted in 2017. Collins has a $26M salary this season and a player option the following year. Would be a good test drive for both parties.

Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
If a team doesn't have any picks to give us in a snt that is thier problem. We can take deals into capspace later in the season for compensation. Better to lose Bridges for nothing vs taking a bunch of junk we don't need.

I’d think that we can probably re-route Mann or Powell to someone else for more assets in a 3 team
Just Powell for Bridges feels… wrong.

Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
Another option could be the Lakers. Klutch clients everywhere…and they could use Miles in that mix. Hachimura and DeAngelo Russell together would be $34M, but Russell is an expiring we could possibly flip or see how he plays next to Melo and Miller. Send them Miles and Bertans, who they could cut for cost savings. Maybe Rui and Vincent just for Miles, but that is weak sauce. Lakers are hot for Derozan, so probably no room to deal for Miles.
ALSO, the Nets are said to possibly want DeAngelo; perhaps they would become involved in a 3 team swap if we got both he and Rui from the Lakers. LA needs to clear an extra player for Bron to sign. Wonder who the Nets might have that we could deal Russell for?

Re: Prodigal Son: The Miles Bridges Thread
I do like Powell and Mann as players.
If we didn't already have 7 plus guards.
