It's always funny to me how people will just go "we have to give them more than 3 games/1 season/3 seasons until we can really judge, until then we just don't know" from the people who were calling the team idiotic, horrible, worst drafting team ever etc like 3 months ago

However long it takes for people to forget about what they've said and they don't have to own up to looking like a big dummy. Just like the LaMelo haters still hiding

I do think Miller is showing star potential, which we desperately need. If we can get LaMelo to quit shooting 30% every game, bring Miller along to eventually start with Gordo a key off the bench along with either Miles or PJ, we can be competitive. Detroit game showed we must get stronger, be ready to compete with physical teams. Duren is proving what a STUPID trade that was.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I know it's only been 3 games, but so far it looks like Brandon Miller is our best player so far. If he sustains this over the next few weeks then I think Clifford HAS to start him. I also think it benefits us if Hayward is the lead guy off the bench where he can get the most touches with that group. The real question comes when Miles returns though. We have 4 guys at SF/PF who could start at that point with only 2 spots.

I'd rather move Terry to the bench and start Miller at SG.

Feels like it'd be a poor culture move to bench Terry when LaMelo is the one playing like ****

They'll never do it though. Terry will be starting unless he's not on the team anymore.

IF Miller is going to be a 20 ppg player this year than I am alright moving Terry to bench, but too early to say.

Guys be honest Miller is already looking like our best player. He plays smart he's under control and he's not even dominating the ball!

There is no reason why this kid shouldn't be facilitating the offense more. He can pass and be a playmaker but our HC is using him as 3&D he's more than that.

Just put the kid in the starting lineup maybe we won't get off to slow starts. He came in with 3 minutes in 1st quarter and the game was basically over.

Brandon Miller is HIM folks. Once we get a HC the future is bright.

Miller has been great, but I also think we should slow our roll a bit... Coming from the biggest DRAFT MILLER Guy on the board.

He is going to have down games, he also is coming off the bench and teams aren't game planning for him yet. He isn't getting covered by the other teams best perimeter defender all game yet... Those things are due to happen if he keeps playing this well and there will be speed bumps along the way.

Rookies typically don't have linear success.

There is no way you were the biggest Draft Miller guy because that would be me.

I don't even see you around on the general board. Nobody reps Miller like me.

Lol JMAC3 was extremely pro Miller pre draft as his guy.

Go check the threads. By far Miller's biggest proponent.

I'm guessing you just don't know me.

Check those same threads I'm in them vouching harder. Check the general board I'm vouching still.

Why do you say this?

Because I have a new account?

I rep the Hornets on the general board when everyone else is afraid to admit they are a Hornets fan.

I still think his only real elite skill is shooting, but I will say he is better at a lot of other things than I expected.

Glad to see the young man doing well.

From what I've seen his elite skill is BBIQ. I think his shooting is very good, but waiting for teams to game him.

Loved Miller and wanted him in the draft. Got a bit concerned with his SL showing. Thrilled with his debut, which shows just how much work and effort he put into preparing for this season.

Want him starting in the future but coming off the bench now is good experience and training. He should be in closing games ALONG WITH MARK WILLIAMS. That means Terry or Gordon sit, whomever is not on that evening.

Miller may become our very best player. His game and smarts shows us the potential.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
