That little button would be Clifford's paralyzing system. He wants his players to play like robots since he coach like one.

You really think he's bad, huh?

I think Cho is worse than Clifford. I actually think Clifford is a okay coach that has his limitations and few cons but he's about a average coach in the NBA. Clifford is just too robotic and he's not good at putting the right lineups on the floor at the right time. But if Cho gave him more to work with then I don't think many of any would be complaining about Clifford's coaching much the same way they didn't last year. We were more talented last year just because we had Mcbob, Tolliver, and CDR instead of Marv, Roberts, and Lance out from under Vogel/Bird wing.

And my thoughts on Mcbob, Tolliver, and CDR ain't no "REVISIONIST THEORY" because I was saying that we needed to retain at least 2 out of the 3 while I hated both the Marv and Roberts signings.

Got a source? Was that like a radio interview?

Surprised that didn't make the rounds.

It was on the Pacers network broadcasting the game. I don't live in NC so I watch the games on League Pass and it had the Pacers network showing the game. That's pretty much what Lance said. That's why in the game thread I posted "Lance taking shots at Clifford's doghouse".

He's not a good enough player to "play freely". Look at Indianas second half last year.

Him playing freely is what lead to him getting ousted from Cincinnati and drafted in the 2nd round after being a touted prospect coming out of HS.

Thanks, will check it out. Seems like an odd thing to say. I mean he just got all these quotes I the Observer about how he's happy here and likes Cliff and the system. So he turned around and torpedoed that on air?

i believe that had more to do with character issues.

It had a lot to do with his on-court character too. He's a character on and off the court.

P.S. And why would you And1 that false stuff LP? Lol. I swear you'd And1 anyone that try me.

Things said about Lance before the NBA.

While Stephenson always seemed like a one-and-done player, he had a subpar freshman season that exposed many of his flaws and showed the limit of his potential.

His offensive skill set, which is heavily reliant on isolations and muscling his way to the basket, will probably have to be adapted at the next level, given his lack of explosiveness and quickness. While Stephenson’s touch around the basket is not bad, his overall shooting during his freshman season was extremely poor. He shot a dismal 21.9% from beyond the arc, converted under 50% from inside the arc and made just 66% of his foul shots.

The biggest issue here is Stephenson’s decision making. He settles for bad shot after bad shot, in spite of miserable percentages and open teammates. He seems to lack any sort of understanding of shot selection. Even when his shots were not falling, he forced the issue and, if his teammates sought their own offense, he tended to pout and fade into the background. This is likely the primary cause for concern from NBA scouts, as Stephenson has never really shown the ability to play team-oriented basketball and could certainly have issues adapting to a situation where he’s simply a role player.

Though Cincinnati did not field the most competitive or disciplined team last season, Stephenson’s lack of offensive efficiency and selfish style of play have been omnipresent throughout his career. During workouts, he must somehow convince scouts that he is capable of playing team-oriented basketball and has the ability to produce efficiently in a smaller role. As we have written before, Stephenson possesses NBA-caliber scoring abilities. His average athleticism and questionable decision making ability, however, may force him to work his way up through the D-League first.

After reading that I woulda thought Charlotte and the NBA was Cincinnati and the NCAA because he's the same guy. Lol

That's why he said in Indy he was free to do whatever, in Charlotte Clifford wants a more team oriented ordeal like most coaches. And he has sucked.

  Last night Lance had no concern about what he was suppose to be doing on the court. He drove to the basket and made some layups, got fouled and missed everything from outside...Street ball. He got some points against Indys bench players when we were down 20 in the 4th...

Watch Lance while he was in the summer league with George, McRoberts etc.his rookie year and he was the best player of the floor...very Hardenesque with sick passing. What happened.

He was in Indiana so he needed to defend himself.

Make no mistake he hates Cliff and the system.

On this team who are the pass first players??? On the Pacers the last several years who were the pass first players? On lance's UC team who were the pass first players?
