In my short time following the Hornets, the things that stood out were Kemba's leadership and humility, Eric Collins's "how do you do's!", Stephanie Ready's pretty decent analysis, the Honey bees, and the overall camaraderie of the team. And of course, visiting Charlotte for the Raptors game in December (which incidentally was Lin's first start of the year as well as his highest scoring game of the year) and getting a picture with Dell Curry. I will not miss Rick Bonnell's insights or Spencer Hawes's no-look hook shots. I will surprisingly miss Al Jefferson's feathery jumpers. I'm disappointed I didn't get to see MKG play a full season, I'm pretty sure the team would've won 50+ games and got to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Now that Byron Scott is gone and Luke Walton is aboard, I can go back to rooting for my hometown Lakers but I'll continue to support the Hornets. And Lin wherever he ends up. I am thoroughly impressed by Charlotte and its fans. Good luck all!

Lin needs to pee. Nothing to see here.

Yeah, but he is holding up 2 fingers. If he just needed to pee, it would be 1 finger.

I've never peed with one finger. And the photo was from early this month.

I'll continue to root for the Hornets either way. The guys on this team are all likeable as well as the coach.

With Mozgov getting 65/4, I would lose all respect for lin for he gets less than 14 give that it's the fit, the coach, the way they play crap.

Reminder - This is the wrong thread for rooting for Lin to sign for big money elsewhere.

Absolutely, because this off season is totally about the money, because everyone else is getting paid.

Lin is set for life with endorsements and public events after his career. Dude is gonna be popular in his 50's. I doubt he is starving for money.

Let's see Batum sign an 8 mil per year contract first.

It's not about that. He should be demanding more with the new cap. It's really a representation of how much a player's valued, either he deserves it or not. Chandler Parsons is getting 4 yr around 95M offer, reportedly. Get the money, give it away, donate it, or whatever, but get the money.

Not that I think Lin or any of these guys should have to take a discount, but I think that's faulty logic in a salary-capped league. If you're just giving money away then you're better off just taking less so your team can sign better players so that you can better compete.

You must be disgusted with Duncan and Dirk.

People on Reddit think that's too low for Lin in this market.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/4qq08j/the_vertical_on_twitter_wojverticalnba_jeremy/

At that price, they said they'd take Lin even if their team has no need for a PG since it's so cheap for what Lin brings in this new salary cap market
