I wouldn't want to take on a bad contract for the sake of somebody as unspectacular as PJ Tucker. We could probably just trade Taylor or Adrien for him if it came down to it.

Okofor's expiring, and I think will be easier to buy out in Feb since he'll be more desirable to a contender than Gordo.

The return of the Hornets...

This is the team I want to see out there, I don't care how you get there.

Kemba Walker-PG
Jeremy Lamb-SG
Evan Turner-SF/MKG
Cody Zeller-PF
Al Jefferson-C/Biyombo

Turner's best at SG, not saying I want him or Lamb but in that scenario I like Turner at the SG with Lamb coming off the bench.

I don't want us giving assets to get the same problem we already have in the Hendo/MKG backcourt- no three point shooting. Whatever two-guard we get HAS to be a great 3-point shooter. I don't care whether it's Kyle Korver or Mo Williams- or hell, even Boobie Gibson out of FA. We just do not need another wing that can't shoot consistently from deep. Aren't Kemba, MKG, Hendo, Sessions, CDR, and Taylor enough inconsistent shooters? None of them even shoot 35% from deep.

I don't really want either of them, maybe Lamb but as a shooter-off-the-bench type that could develop into something more. In the aforementioned scenario, he's not starting over Turner or MKG immediately.

agree with c22, there is not point to move hendo, just to get another sg who doesnt stretch the defense. if we replaced hendo with korver we would be the #3 team in the east, easily in my eyes. if we replaced him with turner, i dont think we would see a difference.

That was Biz Giwalker but I agree with you two too. However I believe if we replace Hendo with Turner we would be a little bit better. Turner make his midrange jumper a lot more consistently than Hendo hit his purposeless fadeaway and even though he's not necessarily a 3 point shooter, at least he shoots them at over double the rate Hendo does. Turner is also a better passer and ball handler. He would make us better. It wouldn't be even keel.

Gerald and Turner are almost the same player, Turner is just better rebounder and passer, Gerald is the better shooter and defender

I would rather neither. I don't want for us to get a guy that just catch-and-shoot like Korver and at the same time I don't want for us to get a guy similar to Hendo that depend on his midrange like Turner. It's a catch 22. The veteran guy that would be perfect isn't on the trade market in Wesley Matthews (51 FG%, 46 3P%) and the young up and coming gem that would be perfect has been talked about so much as a possibility that I'm too exhausted to even believe it could come true in Jeremy Lamb (48 FG%, 40 3P%).

I want Jeremy Lamb here. A much better scorer than Hendo, he can shoot the 3, create off the dribble and his stroke is a thing of beauty. What's a good package that would get Presti to bite?

Jefferson+Haywood+Taylor for Perkins+Lamb+Adams

??

Would they do this?

They'd need to add a filler for salaries.

I don't think they'll want to trade Adams and Perk for Haywood who's iffy. Adams is going to be their C of the future.

I don't think they'd want to trade him either but Jefferson would probably get them over the hump and they'd need to trade something valuable to dump Perk.

I don't think Bobcats/Hornets fans should give up on Al Jefferson as a contributor just because he isn't clutch. He offers a dynamic to this team that is difficult to find elsewhere without offering a max-contract. I understand the urge & want to see Bismack Biyombo in the starting lineup because of his emerging progress, but there shouldn't be no rush on the Biyombo project. Clifford should experiment putting Biyombo alongside Jefferson in a dual-center lineup in between games where Biyombo matches up against the fleet of feet while Jefferson defends the slower big

I don't think OKC would do this simply b/c of Jefferson's salary. Part of the urge to drop Perkins is from his salary, Jefferson makes ~$5M/year for longer.

They might do a Gordon for Perkins, Lamb and filler swap simply b/c BG is a big expiring but if won't to get rid of Big Alice we'll have to look elsewhere probably.
