CP3 is the Clippers best scorer and he better start acting like it.

Interesting that you state this, because I am one that is very adamant about assist being a overrated stat in modern basketball, and especially at the point guard position

The Clippers are 3-0 this season when Chris Paul has score at least 30 points, but that's not really saying anything since he had double figure assist numbers in those games as well, but with him handing out that many helpers a night his teammates garner a tendency to stand around and/or wait for scoring opportunities from him, taking away their overall effectiveness when they are forced by a defense to play a game where they'll need somebody other than Paul to contribute. It's kind of complex to explain, but pass-first point guards aren't really the law of the land to win championships, and neither is scoring point guards even though that's exactly the characteristic of play for the ones that have won it over the past couple decades with superstar help at other positions of course. I say that to say this, the play of a point guard shouldn't be marginalized to just setting up teammates. If that was the case, then Ricky Rubio should be considered for MVP, or at least the best PG in the league

It look like CP3 took heed because he's a scoring machine tonight. Games like this make me understand why he's considered the best the PG in the NBA.

Wow. Clutch ass shot by Batum just when I thought CP3 closed them out. Let's see if CP3 got one more trick up his sleeve.

Funny to listen to the telecast saying that the Clippers don't have any backup bigs as if Ryan Hollins and BYRON MULLENS isn't on the bench. I called it and I'm pretty most of the rest of us did too that Mullens will be out of the rotation before New Year's. Some people thought CP3 and Doc could save him

Mullens will probably never get another job in the NBA after this season. All he had to do is learn to play controlled by not shooting every shot that came his way and he could've made millions on top of millions with a lengthy career. Too bad he think he's Nowitzki, Garnett, and Amare all wrapped up in one.

I just put up a $100 wager on the Phoenix vs Golden State game tonight, no spread, just win or loss, in favor of the Suns. Am I crazy? Maybe a little, but I put my money where my mouth is, and my mouth uttered obscenities such as Stephen Curry struggles to thoroughly run his team's offense when facing a defensive-minded PG as Eric Bledsoe is that'll pressure him on the ball, and that Andre Iguodala isn't good enough offensively (---it's a Philly beef---) to make up for what might end up being Curry woes

As Tony Montana would say "all I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one." I gotta give you credit for sticking by your word and having big balls for taking that bet but I wouldn't have. The Warriors are the better team overall despite what the records say. You must have money to blow because this is probably 60-40 slanted towards GSW winning.

My reasoning in believing I'll win the bet is that Phoenix had won that last time they matched up against Golden State a little over a week ago, are currently riding a 3-game winning streak trumping Dallas in the process, and has won 8 of their last 9 games, only losing to San Antonio in a heavily contested match. My theory on Curry is that even though he's almost impossible to stop as good as his shot has become, he's still fragile in certain areas, whereas if you can bump him off his spots with on-ball pressure he becomes subject to force shots or play out of tempo. I have called almost every Warriors loss this season based on the matchup & momentum of their opponent. I've been on a good streak with the bookmakers of late. I doubt that I'd lose to a co-worker, but anything can happen. I like going out on the proverbial limb with outlandish predictions

I almost feel the same way about Curry in not so many words but he's still gonna drop about 30 points tonight on plus 40% shooting. He'll have to keep his turnovers down tho. I think he lead the league but I'm not sure. Good luck homie!

the division winners get only the 4th seed, if they have won less than three teams in the conference.

Nope. The leader of the Atlantic is only guaranteed a top 4 seed.
