It really takes a good 3 seasons for players to be who they’re going to be. So what we want to see is gradual improvement and adding pieces to his game after each of the next two offseasons. He seems really smart and ahead of schedule so far. He's also doing things I didn’t expect this soon.

I feel like he answers the bell when Cliff calls his number for set plays, would like to see Cliff do that more. Especially when we are running a 2nd unit that lacks other scorers. Defensively seems like Cliff trusts him a ton already which is probably the thing I am most pleased with even outside the scoring and midrange game.

Been saying this since the preseason.

We aren't running any plays for him. He's basically limited to a 3&D player. His talent and skillset says he should be handling the ball more and creating for himself and others.

Right now it's basically give the ball to Melo and let him create for everybody. Would love to see us use Miller like Hayward.

With Miller, it's been 9 games. It's very, very rare for a rookie to come in and take on the alpha scoring role. He's shown potential for that though and his teammates will feed him and trust him. We have to be patient, this season and probably next should be considered developmental seasons for Miller and any rookie tbh. He's on trajectory to being special.

I think from a confidence standpoint you give him more and more as the season goes. You really don't want him taking 20 shots per game to start the year and potentially having a few horrid games. Let him roam off the ball, get some easy ones in transition, cutting and putbacks. He seems like an excellent cutter so far, hoping that him and LaMelo can sync that more and more. Right now we almost need him to stand on perimeter though because we lack spacing already.

Ideally you can spread some of the usage that Ball, PJ and Gordon have been dominating to Miles, Rozier and Miller and we can have a very balanced attack that is tough for teams to gameplan for.

Im still amazed by his athletic ability. I knew he had it in him, but he really has some explosive jumping ability.

He almost had a poster dunk on Lopez the other night. Dude is going to be special if we develop him right.

3 point shot is still up and down and as expected his inside scoring needs some work, but his mid range seems very automatic. Prob his asset as a pro. I am pretty sure in a different situation where he is getting consistent looks and plays called, he would average a fairly efficient 18

When Miller shoots the ball from deep with rhythm and it goes in the net just looks different. Weird take but it's just pure.

It was Miller's birthday yesterday and his parents were in attendance. I'm thankful that his baseball pants were too short and he decided to stick with basketball.

Continuing to have a strong rookie season. Naturally he is going under the radar for being a Hornets player and being in the same rookie class as a guy that is a generational prospect and a guy that had a whole year working with NBA trainers before touching the court.

His numbers right now are looking similar to what Tatum put up by this time in his rookie year and far better than what Ingram was putting up. I'm predicting he continues to show improvement with every passing month and puts up some pretty eye popping numbers by March.

Indeed, Miller looks great as a rookie. Most impressed at how quickly he has blended into the system, the intelligence and maturity he plays with to be so young. A lot of attributes sprouting before our eyes that weren’t quite as evident in college. His passing is really good for a rookie; his defense is better than I expected so early (with more room for improvement needed of course); love his competitiveness! His shot is good, and will get even better with refinement and training.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Yeah, not sure what prompted the change but it was very undemocratic.

Hornets disrespect plus a lot of media 'experts' have egg on their face from pumping up Scoot all summer. No need to remind people they were dead wrong about that.

I can understand folks ranking Hawkins and Lively over Miller due to contributing on playoff contenders, but based on the small sample we have, everyone still takes Miller 2nd in a redraft

if she wants to maintain credibility she might want to spell "Cason Wallace" right
