Boozer on a rebuilding team is almost the worst thing I can imagine happening.

Ditto. Boozer would be tragic here.

More tragic than fumble Biyombo with the ball in his hands?

Almost. Can you imagine our defense getting worst than it is now because that's what'll happen if we get Boozer.

"Perhaps no name is spinning on the rumor mill more than that of Josh Smith of the Atlanta. Everyone from San Antonio to Brooklyn to Charlotte supposedly has a strong interest. Smith is one of six expiring contracts on the Hawks’ roster, and when you consider the power forward’s overall talent (17.1 ppg, 8.6 rpg), landing Smith would be like hitting the lottery’s daily double. We're certainly putting some feelers out there...not sure how Smith fits into the youth movement but we'll see. I'd probably do it if we could dump some longer-term salaries, but that kinda goes against what Atlanta's trying to do right now.

What about C.J. Miles and a first and second round pick for Gerald Henderson and a future second round pick?

Even with Gasol's value at an all-time low, the lakers would have to be able to do better than that.

If they're for some reason interested in our comparitive garbage, then sure, Charlotte would jump. Gasol is almost 33 and has no place in our future but he would post 20/10 numbers on our crap team once he returns and we could flip him next year as a huge $19 mil expiring who can still contribute.

Only downside is that he would hurt our tank.

Interesting column by Charlie Rosen, reviewing the players rumored in potential trades, if they are worth dealing for, and where they would best fit (type of team, coaching staff, etc.).

http://hoopshype.com/columns/rosen/who-to-trade-for

He rates Josh Smith as the most talented, but he needs a team with strong coaching and veterans to keep him focused and productive (that's not us).

From this article his comments about Timofy Mozgov sound like the perfect fit for us...
Timofey Mozgov is still a project in his third NBA season. He’s athletic, willing, and coachable. A get for a young team that can give him the opportunity to learn on the run.

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Charlottes interested in Bargnani. Per Hoopshype

I'd be really surprised if it was just a Gordon for Barg swap.

Stein's an idiot. "Hmm..... Charlotte really wants to trade BG.....Toronto really wants to trade Bargnani.....well, their salaries match... I know, I'll make a tweet about it!"

I like Ross quite a bit. I haven't said this much, but I'd happily trade Henderson or Sessions to do that deal.

Bargnani + Ross for Gordon + Sessions?

Pretty sure they consider Ross untouchable. Not 100% sure, though.
