So... about trading for Gobert...

How many years in a row in the playoffs is he getting played off the court?

If this organization hasn't learned by now that there is something in the water in Charlotte that drains French players of their life energy when they play here then there's no hope for them.

Gobert is a regular season floor raiser. Not a key playoff contributor, unless the other team has a star C for him to guard.

Donovan Mitchell has turned into a selfish chucker. He shouldn't escape criticism while everyone piles on Gobert. Either way if the Jazz lose in the first round I think they will be making some big changes this summer.

I think they're going to move Mitchell. The Knicks are all over him like a fat kid at a candy shop. They're going to offer a haul for him.

Gobert is averaging 17 boards and 3 blocks per game thus far and the best +/- amongst the starters.

It's not his fault Mitchell is chucking and playing hero ball

Anyone concerned the Pels will beat the Suns and our pick will be worse than 15? Booker's hurt through game 4 at least...

The draft order outside of the lottery is finalized as soon as the real playoffs begin. The Pelicans could win the NBA championship and we'd still have the 15th pick.

Claxton is making some big time plays on defense with blocks and steals. He'd be a huge upgrade for our defense. He can't shoot free throws but we're used to that.

Jealous of this Dallas team..proof that players do the little things and play their ass off are valuable

Also jealous that Kidd didn't **** around with rotations in a critical game like Borrego and just played his best players 40+ minutes

My vote for biggest trade of the offseason is Donovan Mitchell to the Knicks for a haul of prospects and picks. Either him or Gobert are getting moved, that team clearly doesn't gel anymore.

I think a lot of us have PTSD from Diaw and Batum so please, please don't let us be the team that trades for Gobert.

Only way I would trade for Gobert is if its Hayward and Plumlee and a small asset like McDaniels or Thor, just so Utah gets out of the contract. I'm not trading lottery picks for him. Have you seen that dude's contract

We weren't ready to play a team like the Heat in the playoffs. Losing might end up being a blessing in disguise to push for needed changes. Borrego was the first domino to fall, he probably won't be the last.

That dude cares more about defense than every player in a Hornets jersey combined

If the Suns flame out in the first round I wonder if that would make them more likely to consider a sign and trade of Ayton?

I don't think they're struggling with the Pelicans because of him. They're struggling because they have a smart coach who is playing a huge lineup that the Suns just can't guard. They're a bad matchup for the Suns, outside of Mikal Bridges and Ayton they just don't have the length to defend the below lineup:

6'3 McCollum at PG
6'7 Herb Jones at SG
6'8 Ingram at SF
6'11 Hayes at PF
7'0 Valanciunas at C

If you guys haven't noticed a lot of teams are going back to huge frontcourts. I hope our front office at least has noticed it.
