LA traded 22 to Washington for Westbrook, Washington traded 22 (Jackson) to Indiana

I like Mitch as a GM tho because it feels great to be one of the WEIRD teams on draft day. Better than the boring do nothing teams

I can’t figure out why the Knicks would make such a trade. Let’s say it conveys next year. You traded the 19th pick in a deep draft for at best, the 19th pick the following draft?

He's really nothing like Noel at all (other than body composition maybe?)

Could be a side deal that made it happen. Not necessarily a draft side deal, either.

Kai Jones is a lot like Jaren Jackson Jr. if he realizes his potential

Like MJ has dirt on Dolan or something? I’d be heated if we did that man. What a draft for us. Times are a changing!

More like a, "We're going to give Monk an offer sheet and we'll give you the pick if you promise to not match." It's not a legal, binding agreement, but Kupchak is known to be a man of his word. Something like that anyway. Pure postulation on my part.

No way Bassey makes it to 37, but Sims very well could be there. Nets supposedly also have their eye on Sharpe.

Least year we were pretty sure we would draft 1 of 3 players.

This year it really feels like it could be 1 of 10 different players!!

I said it was fun at 5:00pm today.

The way Mitch has been wheeling and dealing today it's gone from being fun to being an out and out blast!!

Knicks FO looking to maximize cap space this year while stocking up on future assets. They can potentially use the Hornets pick as part of another trade down the road too.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Kupchak's aggressiveness has allayed some of my frustration from last spring and my fears of continuing conservatism. And he's more fun this way!
