tsherkin had to lock that thread real quick with no explanation. I guess he's sick of Al making him look stupid again and again

Thought you were kidding... there was literally no reason for that to be locked (no conflict and on-topic). I don't really care about the GB but I almost want to pm a mod out of curiosity.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using RealGM Forums mobile app

the original poster did ask for an explanation:

tsherkin wrote:It was a PC Board thread, comparing who should and shouldn't be on the team.

that must be the real reason because this thread is still open :noway:

As much as I love his play on the court, what is equally as impressive to me is to hear the coaches speak about him. He is a locker room leader for Charlotte. A leader, and not just someone who signed here for the money and could care less. That is crucial to our success. His play and leadership make him vital to the success of this team. Glad we have him!

The organization has indeen been active at hyping up Al. Zach Lowe mentions at about 31:40 that they've sent a paint can with Al's face on and a paint brush to him.

Ernie just whipped out a bucket of Big Als paint on Inside the NBA. Barkley said hes been amazing.

I liked the part where Kenny Smith did a segment referring to us as his sleeper team of the Eastern Conference citing the Al Jefferson & Kemba Walker inside-out duo as a tough challenge for opposing defenses

another big jefferson article

I love seeing Al get ink so I'd be stoked anyway, but that was a spectacular article.

Some tidbits from the interview.

- Nothing mentioned about the Bobcats
- His bed was 23,000$ and is 12 feet long and 10 feet wide
- They asked him how high his vertical is, he said not very high
- The first time he dunked in a game he was 14 and did a lap around the gym during the game afterwards
