Definitely SG

Pretty sure he is a big Parks and Rec fan and his referencing Mouse Rats first stint before the break up. So instead of spelling out Mouse Rat I, the hardcore fans have started saying MRI.

Henderson could fit well in Phoenix, but I'm not sure if Phoenix would be willing to give up anything that would help Charlotte compete this year. I like Goodwin, but he's still raw and I think Phoenix prefers him over Hendo. Goran's brother won't be traded... can anyone think of anything else?

I think that they would rather decide which of their own guys to play than to trade for another wing.

Why does Hendo get his own promo video with supporting recent quotes, accompanying music, highlights, the works? Is Cho mocking us with his cinematography skills?

Watch this guy hog serious minutes at SF so they can boost his trade value.

How is Clifford going to find minutes for Lance, Henderson, Neal and MKG? Nevermind Hairston. They really should have dealt Hendo.

Is it just me or is Henderson completely useless on this team? I honestly think PJ Hariston would beat him on a one on one if not right now than after a month of real NBA experience and it would be a TERRIBLE idea to slow the development of PJ for Henderson. Even though I see PJ playing a lot of SF due to his size and strength (along with Lance) we still have Neal who has been playing great this pre season. Im not a Henderson hater im just being realistic. Thoughts?

Hairston isn't even close to Henderson right now as an overall player.

He might be better off to play than Henderson in spurts though. Just depends on the tempo of the game and such.

I don't think Gerald really has what you want out of a 6th man. He doesn't bring the energy and isn't particularly dynamic as a player which the good 6th men usually are. I'm kind of done with him after last year. The better the team played, the more invisible he got which says a lot. Invisible in the playoffs while Al was still trying to carry the load on a busted foot and Kemba was playing his heart out

Agreed. I want my 6th man to be able to get points in a hurry and shoot the deep ball, aka Neal and Hairston.

Hairston is going to stay in constant foul trouble though

Geralds kind of a good stats/bad team kind of guy except that he didn't really even manage good stats when he was on a bad team.

Difficult task, I challenge any of us to find a trade involving Gerald Henderson to another team in which the financial aspects work, most of us would agree upon, and most of the other team's fans would accept. Beyond daunting it may be, I know, but it's a mind exercise

that's how I end up not agreeing with almost all Hendo trade proposals. young, non-playoff teams wouldn't have any use for him, playoff teams already have 2s they would rather have.

the Thunder last year looked like there was at least some possibility (I would imagine they rather play him than Derek Fisher) but it wasn't likely either.

the fact that he's a two who mostly takes long fadeaway mid-range shots just isn't appealing. he might be a veteran and solid defender in our minds but for the rest of the league he's someone who's been on a horrible team for five years.

Hendo 6m@2yrs to Det for Jonas Jerebko 4.5@1yr
Jerebko is 6'10, instead of keeping Maxiell as backup C/PF, he's expiring.
DET just lost KCPoop for a while and don't need Jerebko.

Hendo 6m@2yrs for Brandan Bass 6.9@1yr
Hendo to play for his father's team, aww. Bass, backup C/PF, expiring.

Hendo 6m@2yrs for Jason Thompson 6m@3yrs
Same idea, ditch a wing for another big (we need), though SAC prob doesn't do this deal,
they have way too many PFs and get one less year from Hendo's contract.

Hendo 6m@2yrs to POR for Dorrell Wright 3.1@1yr + Meyers Leonard 2.3@2yrs
The catch here would be Leonard, who might be a meyer lemon, but might be worth the shot

Hendo to MIL for Zaz Pachulia 5.2@2yr
That would be pretty mean to Hendo

Hendo to IND for Ian Mahinmi 4m@2yr + Solomon Hill 1.3@3yrs
actually, not sure why IND would do this

That's an interesting deal. Only problem I see is that the Bucks have tons of perimeter guys and not as great bigs depth, so not sure they do this. Hendo is probably an upgrade over all their non-starting perimeter guys though.

What do folks think about that deal?

I would say that's a move to just dump HeHendo. Za Za is just a older biz. I'd rather keep Hendo instead of that trade. Because at least we can plug him in behind lance for defence when Neal or PJ's 3's are not falling. But that's just me

Good job. I think the Jason Thompson deal is the only intriguing one to me that I think both sides could agree on. I'm sure the Pacers would take that deal for Henderson, but I wouldn't be happy with us taking on Ian Mahinmi or Solomon Hill for as many years with less talent

no to every single one of these. I'd much rather let Hendo prove his worth in a role that he should thrive in. With Roberts, Neal, Hairston, and Marvin Williams likely playing significant time next to him, our second unit floor spacing is going to be just fine. I worry more about the spacing with our starting unit since 4 members of the starting lineup are best near the rim.
