Jeremy Lamb had 22 points on 8 of 10 shooting (3 of 4 from beyond the arc), 4 rebounds, & 3 assist in only 22 minutes of play as the Thunder trounced the Rockets today, 117-86

I wonder if Daryl Morey is having second thoughts? I doubt it, but it's fun to wonder

BTW, James Harden had 8 points on 2 of 9 shooting in 30 minutes

I want Lamb and would be willing to trade everything short of Kemba, MKG, Jefferson, and Biz to get him. A damn shame we didn't inquire about him before he started breaking out. OKC not gonna trade him now.

A damn shame that the Magic beat the Hawks tonight after we couldn't last night. Talk about a player we might can get tho Arron Afflalo had 21 pts (7-10) and 7 assist. Cho better get his ass on the phone.

And I was crazy for wanting to trade the #4 pick for Lamb.

Hell, I'm down for buying low on McLemore right now. His handles suck but he's more athletic (I think) than Lamb and has great potential as a shooter.

SWedd welcome home! - yeah I remember you being on Lamb's sack pre-draft.

All I know is Lamb has found the PERFECT situation for his skillset in OKC. That ship has sailed. Good luck to him and them. They ain't trading him to us for anything on our roster.

If the Lamb ship has sailed then we need to make like pirates and steal it. Just kidding. There's no way we can trade for him now without giving up too much. That's what I've been saying since last year, to cash in while his value is still low. I'm looking for our next possible steal now tho. I like Afflalo but I think we can find somebody else. I got my eyes open. I'm liking Jordan Hamilton right now.

his value might have appeared low for us viewers, but OKC probably knew his value and weren't willing to deal him for peanuts.

We can't always blame our front office for not getting the players we want.

Jennings could be the best passing PG in the league if he wanted to.

they wouldn't have traded him anyway, he was the main piece in the James Harden trade they know all about how valuable he was

Life for Mike Conley Jr. hasn't been easy with only Zach Randolph to pass to. He's been in a slump. I know he can't wait until Marc Gasol return from injury or Hollinger tell management to trade for some help. Jerryd Bayless hasn't been the streaky scorer he was for the Grizzlies last year, so that hurts as well

Same could be said for about 25 other point guards who had the privilege of passing to a guy like Andre Drummond or Greg Monroe or Josh Smith. Kemba would average 8- apg on that team easy.

I include DJ Augustin in that list and incidentally he turned into freaking Magic Johnson for a play. Image

I'm assuming that Brandon Knight isn't one of those 25 point guards in your list

Rookie stretch 4 Kelly Olynyk had a great game today in a close 92-91 loss to the Hawks for the Celtics. He posted 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting (3 of 5 on 3-pointers), 4 rebounds, 5 assist, & 2 blocks in only 24 minutes of play. I wish Boston would've drew something up for him at the end instead of letting Jordan Crawford miss 3 consecutive shots in the final minute

just for fun... (way too early to do this, but what the hell...)

if you could do a redraft today of the 2013 draft, who should go where?

Here's mine thru 7
1. cavs - oladipo - perfect fit next to kyrie, they can shop waiters or use him as 6th man
2. magic - carter-williams - now they have their pg of the future
3. wizards - giannis - too much upside to ignore, even for a team looking for immediate help
4. cats - mclemore - we really need shooting, even though i am not a big fan of him
5. suns - noel - BPA
6. pelicans (sixers) - burke - not sure if the trade still goes down, but burke would still fit
7. kings - adams - team needs a rim protector in the worst way

how fall do bennett, len and porter fall? i figure zeller is still probably top 10.

Lord knows I wanted to like this Cody Zeller pick more than the prospects of Ben McLemore coming to Charlotte. McLemore is playing exactly how I expected him to right out the gate due to his lack of ball handling & ability to create his own shot, but I expected Zeller to be a feasible scoring presence in the paint like he was at Indiana University. I think the only thing holding Zeller back is confidence, as to McLemore it's just skill

Assuming that Charlotte could've made the same contract play for Paul Millsap that they did for Al Jefferson, Cho may have dropped the ball in offseason acquisitions. The way how Millsap is playing for Atlanta would've gave Charlotte a much more balanced roster had he been signed instead of Jefferson. Imagine if Charlotte would've drafted per se Ben McLemore (ugh) instead of Cody Zeller, and then signed Millsap. They would've had 2x as much perimeter shooting as they have (or lack) now between McLemore & Millsap being on board. I'm not trying to insinuate anything here, just making conversation, because hindsight is always 20/20
