All in all, I would just like to see Cho make a more aggressive approach towards acquiring the ideal 3rd scorer of the Hornets' future. Maybe he has something up his sleeve that'll impress me more than I superficially intend as of now

Higgins was voted as the 11th best executive/GM but others around the league for this past year.

If it was Higgins' brilliant idea to sign Al Jefferson instead of tanking another season on the laurels of neither MKG, Zeller, or Biyombo becoming complementary scorers, I think he deserve it. I am in no way interested in Cho's drafting prowess leading this team into contention as initially expected upon his arrival

and this is what I was saying earlier in this thread. Why is Cho still here? this team has made no Cho-like moves in a year. Why is he still here?

And I KNOW MJ isn't making player personnel choices, but why is it that every player on our roster would look so much better in the 1990s?

I think Cho has done an OK job with the exception of a couple of missed draft picks. Biyombo, maybe Zeller, and MKG could have been better, but thats all hindsight at this point. Depending what happens this off season, and with that Detroit pick will make or break him in my opinion.

He likes high potential projects (Biz,MKG) i think Zeller was fine, he was the 2nd best top 5 pick, Kemba was good and MKG is doing what he was supposed to do

I think overall hes done just fine, but I hope MKG, Biyombo, and even Zeller make some big time improvements in the off season or things may get a little dicey.

No Rich Cho on the candidates?

If I'm Cho, I'd rather resign. He may have the General Manager title but he is not the one running the show. I guess we're forever stuck with Higgins.

Cho's tanking enabled the Bobcats to have the cap space to sign Al so let's not give Higgins all the "credit." Without Cho, Higginsanity probably would have pulled some cap murdering trades like with Tyrus Thomas or J-Rich.

I'm not really giving Higgins any credit. I'll give Cho some credit though for being financially cautious over the past few years and acquiring assets, but that's about as far as it goes. Cho hasn't been bad, he's been solid as a GM, but he's also on that verge of uncertainty with me. This offseason up until next season's trade deadline will tell me a lot. I understand how from the outside looking in that there's certain deals that aren't necessarily on the table as they appear

Not sure what I think about cho. In OKC he was credited for being a genius but picking Westbrook and Durrant 90 percent of basketball people would have. I give him a little more credit with Harden. Where I give him the most credit is with Iblacka

Since here he has selected Bizmack Biombo, Zeller, MKG. I think he will pick Mcbuckets in this draft. I dont think he will take Nik S, or Gordon.
UPDATED `10-22-2025

These are who I want with our picks in order

THEM - Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen

UNCNYC - Arthur Agee, William Gates

I really wish we can get a RealGM rep into the Hornets conferences to ask tougher questions and more in depth than "will we be able to compete with the Heat soon"

Time for me to use my Jedi mind powers to try to read between in the lines of what Cho is saying and his body language. Last year around this time they were adamant about drafting frontcourt depth, rebounding, and size, in which they did with Zeller. This year it seem as if they are intent on perimeter shooting. I'm about to take a listen
