Latest nbadraft.net mock draft has us taking CZ at #4. Len at #1, Dipo at #2, Bennett and McLemore at #7 and #8.

@WojYahooNBA: Cody Zeller in strong consideration for Charlotte (4), Phoenix (5), sources say. If McCollum goes 6 or 7, Detroit has Zeller high on board.

@WojYahooNBA: Alex Len is still favorite in Charlotte if he's there at No. 4, but Zeller has remained a constant in dialogue, league sources tell Y!

Yuk.

I would much prefer Zeller to some of the others listed at our pick.

As long as that means no Bennett, all is well.

I will be one unhappy Bobcats fan if they take Cody Zeller at 4 with Olidipo, McLemore or Bennett still available.

i am completely OK with zeller. i made my case for him in my big board on the main thread.

solid pick in this draft. high floor. smart, athletic, good shooter, fills needs, solid in pick and roll/pop, ready to contribute, fits identity of team.

obviously i would prefer we take him by trading down though.

I like Zeller. Would prefer to add him plus some value but he fits really well with this team.

Well said. Tanking hard and only getting a borderline starter would be a classic Lolcat draft move.

Agree, but looks like we're in the minority.

I would not hate him at 4. There are only five guys I have ranked higher than him on my board. If they don't think MKG and Porter can play together like I do he moves up to 5.

Seven rhymes from the "Cody Zeller Anthem," offered without comment:

Everybody hands up for the anthem / Cody Zeller, a.k.a. Big Handsome!

Goin' coast to coast for a monster slam dunk / The world has never seen such a high-flyin' hunk.

Brought the Hoosiers back into the national spotlight / Even winnin' tips over players who are not white.

Cody's so tall got his head in the sky / Hope a ceiling fan doesn't catch him in the eye.

The Handsome, Big is what they call him at the doc / And when it's time to win big you know it's handsome o'clock.

Got the height of a giraffe, the hops of a kangaroo / Crimson goin' so crazy turns the Hall into a zoo.

Cody's so large and aesthetically pleasing / The movement is here / This is our season.

I am happy with this pick, but I wish we could've traded down. :(

This is how I feel as well. I'm wondering if we try to trade back into this draft.
