i am pretty much a button masher at this game. i have no real idea what i am doing most of the time other than pass, shoot etc... but sometimes i will be posting up jefferson and i will go to shoot and then he does this awesome post move and i am like "how the hell did i do that?"

I agree, you are good at those moves.
And sometimes you press shoot at around the corner of the free-throw line and the player swoops to the basket.

They changed it a lot since NBA2k11, because in that game there was a lot less animations and you basically controlled every footstep.

There are positives and negatives to each approach.
The NBA2k15 animations make the player move a lot more like real life.
Whereas NBA2k11 lack of animations mean it doesn't look as life-like but it gives you full control of every movement at least.

we have to be careful with cutting Biz's minutes in real life.

Does anybody ever have games where they get ZERO calls? Just played my second game and Memphis shot almost 15 more free throws than I did. I can't tell you how many times I got knocked to the floor on drives and didn't get a thing called.

I wonder if that's true for all levels or just HOF.

Ariza is ungodly

I'd go with Asik/Sullinger/Ariza/Iggy/Rose as your starting lineup. Asik and Sullinger are legit two way players, Ariza hits a stupid amount of threes and Rose is better than "MVP" Rose in 2k15.

The only change I made to the Hornets roster was that I added Michael Jordan.
I chose the 95-96 version of Jordan.
Not the most athletic version, but the best perimeter shooter and still athletic enough.
In previous 2k games I'd chosen 1988-89 Jordan because he had maximum speed.

what is the point of playing as the hornets if you basically changed the entire team? do you have any actual hornet players left on your squad?

Do you do the subs yourself or automatic subs?
I've always done manual, but now that I think of it maybe I should try automatic subs so I can use my brain entirely for the gameplay.

i fired up the game last night after the loss to the pelicans, hoping it would me feel better by beating the pants off the CPU. instead i got paul george going 15-for-20 for about 38pts, hitting jumpers, put back dunks, you name it. stuckey was hitting 3s and george hill had the game of his life. meanwhile jefferson had 35pts thru 3 quarters but the CPU decided he would go 0-for-the-4th-quarter because of hibberts amazing defense, even though al was getting wide open layups. i lost like 120-110.

Had a game winning buzzer beater last night.

First game of the year, finally got to play after I got the sliders I liked. I was up pretty much the entire game, but never really broke away.

They had cut the lead to 2 with about 30 seconds left, and I had the ball. I drive with Kemba as the shot clock goes down, they collapse, I dump it to Al for what looks like the shot that will seal the game and he fumbled it out of bounds. They get the ball and drain a 30 footer with 1.3 seconds left on the clock. I get the ball at half court, run Kemba off a screen going towards the basket and he shoots a little jump hook floater over his man as time expires. Ball goes in, but no points on the board. We are celebrating, the Bucks are semi celebrating, I have no clue what is going on. Then the coolest thing happened. The refs walked over to the table, pulled out the tv to look at the replay and then the ref comes back out and signals the basket is good and everyone went bonkers, including myself.

I've decided to stay with the Kings in mycareer. They just have everything that I need to win a championship. They have the best Center in the game, an Athletic SF who isn't afraid to shoot (and who can defend), a rookie SG who can hit the 3 with precision, and a VERY deep guard rotation.... Just really solid all around.

the **** thunder scored 140pts against me last night shooting 64% from the field and 44% from 3pter (making 12). how on earth are you supposed to stop them we westbrook, durant and even **** reggie jackson are basically unguardable? durant was 11-for-14 from the field and wesbrook was something like 16-for-24. i tried double teaming them, tried packing the paint, trying aggressively pressuring them out beyond the 3pt line... nothing worked.

and once again, jefferson scored at will for the 1st three quarters then got magically shut down by invisible defenders in the 4th. happens every game.
