I second what Braggins said. Cliff deserves nothing.

That being said, I know he'll be back, no way MJ is paying three coaches. Even new ownership will keep him until midseason at minimum.

So, how much can we get for the 39th and 42nd picks? Move up into the higher 30's or trade for a vet? Hopefully we don't sell them.

I think it's probably a safe bet that one of those picks will be traded for a future pick and one will either be sold or used for a draft and stash. I don't think any of us should expect to draft more than 3 players with the intention of them being on the roster next season.

I think 34 and 39 could get us another late first. I could see the Heat going for a trade back with us.

The season is over and there is still no update on Miles and there doesn't seem to be any movement on the team being sold.

If Jordan is leaving everyone in the dark about what's going on it will confirm every negative thing that's ever been said about him as an executive. There's no excuse for remaining silent and leaving the people who depend on you for a paycheck wondering if they will have a job or not later this year. I get not telling the media or even the fans anything until a deal has been made. But the front office guys, the coaches, players, training staff, etc. should have received at least some communication about what his plans are.

I have to assume they're being forthcoming in the building and just not publicizing things.

I'm also not sure how motivated MJ is to sell. I might be wrong but it seemed like it was more "listening to offers" than "actively negotiating a sale".

The sale of the team hangs over everything the Hornets plan to do. It's serious lame duck sauce. If I had to guess, everyone's waiting to see if Charlotte gets the #1 or not. Jordan would be foolish to move before then.

My rated players:
1. PJ
2. SVI
3. Theo
4. Oubre
5. SJR
6. Miles (sign and trade, please)

See how shooting affects my rankings? Outside the lottery pick, the Hornets should focus on shooting, shooting, defense, then some more shooting. And for that reason...

So long Rozier. Say hello to the second unit, Kelly. Bouknight, dude, you need to look into the real estate market in Greensboro. Cody, bro, I'm praying for your knees.

TLDR: We're gonna resign our free agents and run it back next year.

Clifford did an awful job this season, even by his incredibly low standard, and hes one of the worst coaches in the league (arguably the worst after Silas firing). Its absurd that they would even consider bringing him back.

I still think the only hope is that the team gets sold soon and they completely clean house. Its clear the current leadership is completely out of their mind. I was open to Mitch maybe staying around a little longer, but hes cooked. 43 wins lol...

I'm actually about 60% sure they'll trade the draft pick if it isn't #1. If we want to keep Oubre, we don't have a spot for a rookie wing player.

Unless we're trading for a younger star player we believe will stick around (like maybe Brandon Ingram since he's from NC) I doubt that.

They are going to lose LaMelo if they don't get their **** together and Mitch is out here talking about how Clifford did a good job and they would have won 43 games if the team was intact... Just absolutely bonkers.
