I don't see an announcement about Kai going to the G league. Guess he's just going to get splinters riding the bench all season

I'm just glad we're not sending both down there where they have to share the court for 30 minutes and also not have a PG to feed them the ball.

gotta keep em separated

Yeah. Solid debut.

Anybody see him almost go coast to coast in the 4th quarter? Tipped it to himself and then went behind the back. Was highly entertaining lol.

He's going to be a very good player. Just needs a little more strength and to get acclimated more to the speed of the game.

Great to hear he's coming along. I like that we have him and Nick and hopefully Brazile. Ty'shon had a big game there as well

25pts / 7 reb / 5 ass / 3 stl

I think alexander played out of position in summer league. IF given a chance at SG I think he would play better. Hopefully they both get chances this season and are used to their best abilities

I really like the way Mark moves around. Have high hopes for the kid.

That behind the back dribble going into a layup in the video was impressive for a man of his size.

A real mixed bag IMO. He flashed some skill and some post moves but he gets moved off his spot like a twig.

He really needs to get a lot stronger in the upper and lower body. It will help him immensely on both ends.

Indeed, I am a bit surprised at his strength level, given how well he managed the 5 spot in college. That will come with time and training. League strength is “old man strength”. It takes most bigs a few years to get acclimated. Banchero looks like he’s ready right out of the gate at the 4. Mark Williams has the skill set to add to strength.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Well, if Nick Richards of all people can stop getting pushed around, Mark can too

They’ve recalled him from the g league, I’m genuinely curious on why bother?

Is he actually going to get time? Is Plumlee or Richards getting benched? Unlikely

If he keeps doing well, there is no reason to not play him.

Nick has played well this season. Which is a nice surprise. So Plumlee needs to be on the chopping block.

We gotta stop letting mediocre veterans play over the youngsters.

As soon as Williams shows a consistent pulse Mitch needs to send Plumlee out immediately. Doesn't matter what the return is, Cliff has to be saved from himself on this one.

Fwiw I don't think Plumlee has been totally crap this year, on the contrary I think he'd be a very solid bench big for a good team, we just have way too much youth at that spot that needs development time.
