You're not alone.

Spurs must know by now some team out there values him like a superstar, and San Antonio might be one of those teams. But knowing someone out there sees a superstar, they will price him accordingly.

The price would be a nightmare. Getting a superstar for a non-superstar price is a dream that has no chance of coming true.

Just to make it clear Ace is my #3

If he's not available I would take both Tre and Fears ahead of VJ.

I’m honestly okay with anyone not named Maluach. Prefer VJ, however.

this is it for me. Malauch might end up great, but I don't see how he's gone from a solid looking centre to a top 5 pick.

If Carter Bryant can be ranked as high as 8 can he go at 4?

If this teams biggest need is a perimeter defender then might Bryant’s size and defensive ability (#4 ranked DBPM among freshman) make him a better fit than VJ?

Just asking

Has us, or any team for that matter released any workout footage of the top prospects? Those videos is what i get off to and sway who i do or dont want even though they definitely shouldn't.

Idk I think that puts him on the Patrick Williams career arc, where he shows flashes but you are always expecting more.

Carter projects as a 4th or 5th starter to me, but his archetype is valuable but I would rather swing for a guy with more star upside at #4.

Good point.

Considering most view VJ as the best fit not the best prospect available this is a legit question. I haven't been watching Carter Bryant film, but I will today. If he brings defense and has the size my only question is his ball handling and 3pt shooting compared to VJ.

If the skills matchup and they both have similar skill sets I would always favored the bigger player in that scenario.

Not this board in particular, but other message boards the main reason he's getting mocked to us is because he fits with Melo/Miller.

His lack of ball handling and shot creation is why he's getting the fit narrative from others. It screams role player imo.

Last year, I was down on Reed Sheppard and made the comparison a few times of him to Cam Spencer. Now this isn't a which guy is better convo but more so if you were trying to replace him at .40 of the cost who would be the next best thing.

Cooper Flagg = Kobe Sanders
Dylan Harper = Kam Jones
Ace Bailey = RJ Luis
Tre Johnson = Jaxson Robinson
Jeremiah Fears = Javon Small
VJ Edgecombe = Alijah Martin
Derik Queen = Johni Broome
Kasparas Jakucionis = Ben Saraf
Carter Bryant = Drake Powell
Khaman Maluach = Victor Goldin
Kon Kneuppel = Max Shulga
CMB = Obinna Anochili-Killen

I know I’m not in the loop, but please tell me…

Who the heck are these people?

Aren’t we expecting to draft at the TOP of the second round?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

This is pretty normal, best names don't typically start working out until 10-14 days before the draft. Early workouts are typically SL and Potential Two-Way types.
