No way is he even close to as good as Mark offensively. Mark's roll gravity and explosiveness clear Kalk's. Mark will posterize anyone in the league and has actual post moves and legit two-hand finishing.
He is a similar archetype though and can be basically Mark-lite in profile. But he is not as good offensively.
probably why he didn't say offense, just shooting. the availability and cost is the big advantage for Kalk.
if a big upgrade is available, we still have Kalk as backup or he could even entice a couple of teams trade wise.
that's the other big benefit of our 2 young cheap centres showing decently. a lot of teams would happily and either for depth.
