She asked if we planned on trading GH. He answered by saying, " You know his contract is up right?". Sounds like a yes to me.

I wouldn't mind keeping Henderson.

What sucks so bad about them putting Henderson on the block? There's plenty of shooting guard talent in this draft in McLemore, Shabazz and Smart.

If we can get something good for him, then great, but don't trade him for the sake of trading him.

Its always nice to have a solid backup SG. No team is going to pay Henderson starter money. Wouldn't mind keeping.him at all.

Looks like Hendo was very motivated tonight...24pts and 10 boards. Either he really wants to stay, or he REALLY wants to get traded. Maybe Dunlap told him that a contending team was in play for his services.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think he would make either the Pacers or Grizz significantly better. I'd like to get Ed Davis (who is blocked) for him and the POR pick.

I think Gerald would make any good team a lot better. He just needs enough talent around him to give him space to create his own shot. On a bad/rebuilding team, he isn't worth the money. I like Gerald but I'm for trading him. He makes good teams better and bad teams worse/no better.

i'd like to see us offer a future 2nd round pick to the spurs for blair, just to see if they would bite. he is gone this summer and they know it.

From that link:

Minnesota has offered multiple first-round picks for established wing players in the league, sources said.

I'd offer Henderson and the POR pick for Minny's pick. It's currently 8th overall. Len, Olidapo, MCW, Willie Cauley-Stein territory.

Would rather get a high 2014 pick to be honest.

The operative word there is currently. Would adding Hendo significantly improve the Wolves enough that they make a run and thus lower their draft pick? The Wolves have been bitten by the injury bug for a while but it can't last forever.

It'd be a gamble.

Hendo and the PDX pick for their pick seems a little rich to me, but I probably wouldn't complain too much. Though, I kinda doubt it's this year's pick, or if it is it's probably heavily protected.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... For-Mozgov

They just offered Roy and a first (article doesn't say what year) for Mozgov...and Denver declined? Roy has two years left but according to the article his salary for next year isn't guaranteed. So that would basically make him an expiring, right?

I like Mozgov, in fact I wanted us to make a run at him, but I think their demands are a little high for my taste.

Minny is pretty loose with their picks. They traded the 18th pick last year (turned out to be Terrence Jones) for Chase Budinger. They are garbage when they draft anyway.

Don't we still owe them like a top-55 protected second rounder from the Theo Ratliff trade? Haha, if only we could get another deal like that one.

Ideally. I would like to see us trade at least one of Hendo, Gordon, and Sessions. Gordon being the most obvious. I think if we can get rid of one of them then that will open up more minutes for MKG.

Also, I do not know if we are past the point of offering Mullens and Hendo their qualifying offers, but that would be ideal in Henderson situation. Go ahead and lock him up for next year, then depending on what we do in the draft and how well Hendo plays, we can decide whether to offer him a contract and for how much.

I think Henderson is a good player, but maybe better suited to come off the bench or be a 3rd or 4th option as a starter on a good team. His defense, athleticism and his ability to play both wing spots holds value in its own. His ability to knock down tough shots, and at times be a go to option on offense would be great for a playoff team.

I do not just want to give him away and would be reluctant to take a late first for him. I would want a pick in the top 20, a solid big guy, or a young player with potential for him.

Well the Celtics are looking for guards. Would you take their pick for him? It's 17 right now.
